Financially he'd be worse off - but perhaps it's something he feels that he really NEEDS to do.

But isn't there a chance that he mightn't make this fantastic Kerry side ? Who would step aside for him ? Where do you think he'd be best suited to play in GAA ?

Absolutely. Although they'd give him every chance.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Keery Mike or Frank - would Tadgh make this Kerry team ? Where might he play ?

Uladh

as far as scanlon has come, he'd be looking over his shoulder. dara and kennelly would be some midfield pairing. although as its two years away kerry will probably be looking for a relacement for dara by then

Carlton took another hammering today from St. Kilda and while Setanta played well he looked totally pissed off at the end. Playing on a bad team all the time is no joke.

Else where Marty Clarke and Kevin Dyas teamed up for the Collingwood reserves in the VFL and had a good win with Marty showing much improvement rom last week and Kevin playing really well, loving the tackleing but not totally up to speed on all the rules.

That's what I was thinking Uladh - Dara is near the end of his tether - Kennelly would be some replacement.

He is nowhere near big enough to be a primary ball-winner at midfield. He could make a good Shane Ryan-esque ball carrier though.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

What height is he anyway ?

Jinxy - Having stood beside him he is more than big enough

Jinxy

Didn't look too big during the international rules and he was dwarfed by Brendan Murphy when they appeared on TV together a couple of weeks back.

INDIANA

i think murphy is about 6ft 7 though - kenelly is about 6ft1

According to the Swans website, Kennelly is 190cm and 86 kg - that's 6'4" and 13 stone 9lb ???? Lovely !

He'd make some mdifielder !

Jinxy

He is in his hoop 6'4". And if he was, at 13 stone 9lbs  he'd want to be having an extra weetabix or 2 in the morning.

I didn't think he was quite that tall either.

DUBSFORSAM1

He is at least 6'2 and is probably at least as physically strong as nearly any other midfielder..

If you saw the amount of horsing and running he was doing off the ball, never mind if his ball winning at the SCG yesterday he'd walk onto any county team in virtually any position, I reckon he's be lethal at CHB
