Quote from: Mourne Red on July 20, 2024, 06:30:12 PMThe casuals were out today in Newry.. Was picking up some stuff in O'Neills and the amount of Armagh ones looking jerseys 😅 Staff looked like they were tired of explaining they don't make the Armagh gear

On that note, the sooner Armagh either go back to O'Neills or McKeever's improve their quality the better.
Wish they'd move to playr fit
I was wondering how mckeevers were managing the demand for jerseys. What shops sell them?
Those looking for Armagh jerseys in ONeills aren't too clued in.
Pop up shop in Cross with them, shop in Craigavon I think and Armagh sports and trophies have them too as far as I know. Also online.

Craigavon store closed and moved to Lurgan a few months ago. Just in case anyone tries going to the old store location that still appears in some Google searches.

Are O'Neills selling the retro gear? Has to he a huge market that avoids copyright issues. I've 3 different retro jerseys!

The scramble is well and truly on.
The Lurgan clubs all seem to be have been given half their allocation for the Hill, is this true of all the Armagh clubs? I see the grumblings have started on Facebook already about not getting tickets, mostly from people who apparently go to all the matches but didn't bother with a season ticket...

my club received a 50/50 split between hills and seats
so seems to be the norm

Think thats across the board. Be great to be from a club with more tickets than members..

Although it's early in the week, I can't remember so little tickets floating about.

There used to be at least 3 weeks before finals, more time for tickets to move about.

Mr Maguire got a fabulous welcome last (and first) time. This could happen again if the luck is with the Orange men.

BTW what clubs do the various players represent ?

My club sent an email link to whoever was lucky enough to be chosen for a ticket.
It's a link into Ticketmaster with a specific code on it.
You need to have a Ticketmaster account to use it.
When I went in the available tickets were specific sections in the Upper Hogan. I know others who got Lower Cusack as their option when they went in.
Not sure how that is decided upon.

Hopefully Sam is getting the same welcome this time next week.

Which players? Clann Eireann have 3 starters (Turbo, TK and Barry McCambridge. Maghery have 2 in Crealey and Forker plus Higgins on the panel who actually started against Galway the last time. Cullyhanna have 3 lads on the panel who'll all likely see game time, Shanes have 3 on the panel as well but Ciaran Mackin is out with the cruciate. Fair spread across all the panel.

I saw on tirnanog Facebook page there county board meeting tonight.I recall in 2002/2003 seconds allocations coming through the Wednesday or Thursday before the match but there's obviously a quicker turnaround now and more pressure on the clubs to get sorted in quicker timeframe. Saw a thing campaigning for a lad to get a ticket on social media earlier embarrassing.

Notably, Cross have less involvement with this AI final than any previous one Armagh played in.
