Quote from: theskull1 on December 09, 2024, 08:24:48 AMI'm beginning to think Gerard is an AI bot

Do you not feel even a little bit of remorse Skull? - all those happy jubilant Syrians - the people Max and Aaron told you don't count, don't matter - the countless lies..

Definitely an AI bot

Just watch the carve up and turmoil take place over the next while ..... divide and conquer is all part of the plan

Sure am I not a GUR psy-op Skull? They've dedicated a 4 man team to GAABoard. They got us working in shifts..

I didn't ask you about the potential turmoil in Syria, I asked you if you felt any remorse or guilt at the men, women and children you and Max and Aaron and all your ilk consigned to the dustbin because of your pathetic hypocritical ideology.

There's no doubting Assad did some unspeakable things in Syria in the name of "maintaining order" but I'd not be rejoicing yet when you see who's taking control in these ISIS - Hayat Tahrir al-Sham mishmash of terrorist organisations backed by Turkey, Israel and the US...

You can only hope for the Syrian people that they get some sort of self determination at last, but I'm not holding my breathe on that happening.

You're not rejoicing because you're not a Syrian that lived and suffered under Assad.

Here's hoping that rejoicing continues once ISIS exert their control.

You lads can't tolerate the legitimate joy of ordinary Syrians for even 5 mins.

Straight to bleating about the US, Israel and ISIS.

You'd happily see jihadis take over if it meant it would validate your tacit support of Assad's regime. Syrians who suffered under him don't even get a consideration.

Too much of the upside down world of Max and Aaron for the past 13 years.

For me personally and I've been reading and watching stuff on Syria for years, I'm glad he's gone, he was worse than his da and that's some going.

Every country should look after its own during these times and I doubt very much either of the countries you have mentioned will be cutting or trying to cut deals with Syria, if Syria could get its arse off the ground after conflict it has enough to be in a better position with regards to natural resources.

Been some amazing documentaries about the conflicts, Aleppo has been attacked continuously from Russia jets (skull's good guys ;) ) not sure a place like that can ever be re built and its people healed

One problem with Syria, which applies elsewhere in the Middle East, is outside actors with their own agendas. Iran is pushing its own version of sectarianism, Turkey tries to beat up the Kurds even though they would otherwise be relatively harmless neighbours. Then you have various extremist Islamic groups. Also you have Russia is trying to pretend that it is a great power and various other people like the US trying to stop one of the above.

A very simplistic view there Armaghniac.

Iran are no different to the Saudi's, Qatar's etc etc in pushing for their own version of Islam.

The Kurds are still looking for their independent Kurdistan which would straddle Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria, they are a fairly well armed militia and need to be considering the actions of their occupiers listed above.

This is one complex region, pushed and pulled one way, then the other by sectarian and ethnic lineage as well as outside forces looking to make the most of their oil and gas reserves and feed into this toxic mix.

All the while the poor and children die.

I made the point that it was complex and outside forces made it harder to have peace in Syria and you agreed with me. I didn't especially pick on Iran.

Nothing to see here (not on the bbc website that's for sure). The West wants you to think it's ALL good. You're being played if you think that's all you need to know.

Watching the Butcher of Gaza licking his chops in the Golan heights yesterday would make you sick and very wary of what's to come.

I expect Syria to be balkanized very soon.

Just Israel being Israel. Why would you expect anything else.

Btw have you seen the Hamas statement to the people of Syria?

https://x.com/naksbilal/status/1866104005664948316?s=46

Are Hamas puppets of the CIA and the how do ya dews now as well?

p.s. 'Some' Syrians - tens of thousands, probably hundreds, celebrating in the streets. Your twisted worldview can't process their unbridled joy.

So it isn't Abu Mohammed al-Jolani and ISIS who've taken over Syria and even Uncle Sam has him and his group on a terrorist watch list due to his Jihadi links?

Getting rid of a dictator is always good and if Abu Mohammed al-Jolani and his gang leave the Syrian people to make up their own minds then all the better, but I don't know about you, I'd have my doubts about that!

All the while Israel are working their way to the Euphrates in their quest for the "greater Israel" that the Zionists thrive for.

No, it's not ISIS that have taken over Syria.

"Getting rid of a dictator is always good" - wow progress, very good.

You have your doubts, good for you. Meanwhile the celebrations continue in Syria.

Iraq?

Getting rid of any dictator I'd say is a good thing, if you think Iraq was good, ask the families of the ones killed with mustard gas, up to 5,000 killed many thousands more injured in 1988.

Have any of you dictatorship law and order fanboys checked out the footage coming from Saydnaya prison?

Aaron Boone

The CIA was behind the curve on this one. Even the Brits aren't claiming they know of the rebel offensive.

Like Libya break-up 15 yrs ago, the straight lines drawn by the British Foreign Office 100 years ago are not long-standing.

All of those civil servants had of course King and Country at heart. But the clans etc remain.

Iran warned Assad a month ago about this planned push so I very much doubt CIA Mossad M16 were caught on the hop.
