So the rumours have it, Eskra have flew him home to push for division 2 and offered him a player manager role for next year

It seems the smell of the mushroom factory made a significant difference in Kileeshils championship win. Maybe it needs to stay after all.

You're right. Not many care about that scrap.

Have any other finals been as big of robbery as that yesterday? I can't remember any, Aghaloo should have won that game by around 6 points, they lost it far more than Killeeshil won it but that won't matter to hoops. It is unbelievable the reach of Tyrone TV also, some talk about this junior game across the whole of Tyrone and beyond

Ardboe lost to Dromore in the final with very late penalty after the goalie took down a forward when the ball was going wide.

After taking a point in a 2 on 1 goal chance in the attack before the penalty attack.

Quote from: Knock Yer Mucker In on October 14, 2024, 11:06:55 AMBoys, do any of you know where Localexpert has went to. The mother of all victories on Saturday, putting Coalisland to the sword and relegating them to intermediate, doubling up on the championship win. Wealth can't give you happiness, but the small things in life do  ;D

Can clonoe still not end up in intermediate if they lose the game?

Yes, your right, your missing the point.
:( Isn't that what happened them only 2 years ago

Those big wins for Glen & Kilcoo over the weekend will have put a dent in Errigal's Ulster Club ambitions.

Hopefully training is re-adjusted this week to concentrate only on the Tyrone final. The other priorities can wait.

Darragh Canavan will miss the final.

Excited to see how the new rules play out this weekend in HQ. Think the forward mark inside the 20m line is being adjusted to initially how the mark was intended to be given - to reward high fielding in a congested area, which is a welcomed change.

Not sure how club refs will ref the other rules though, too much of a grey area surrounding whether scores are inside/outside the 2 point arc and ensuring 3 men stay up will put even more pressure on referees at club level. Expect to see many of these rules be only used at InterCounty level.

As for this weekends games I'm tipping Derrylaughlan and Trillick, I would assume both are fairly close with the bookies?

Double Bounce

Can you watch the games in HQ this weekend anywhere? Interested to see these new rules in place

Pity the County final wasn't on today as conditions won't be good tomorrow.  Will the pitch hold up with the minor game beforehand?  Would they ever put it back a week?
