United would be a good addition to the Championship next season. Teams like Middlesbrough, Stoke & Blackburn have become stale in that League, so the extra buzz of United there would reinvigorate all the participants.

It's also a good opportunity to see Amorim's rebuild strategy close-up with all the star names plying their trade for the one year they will be in the Championship.

Away to Chelsea and home to Villa are the last two fixtures in May. Not the easiest for a team in a relegation dogfight.

Southampton, Ipswich, Man United and Leicester will be battling it out for the drop.

Forest look the part. Clough brought them up steadily like this in 79/80.

Quote from: Carmen1932 on December 23, 2024, 12:47:32 PMMade the league final last year only because we got rid of old management (that got biggest ever buy in). The interim management was put in place for semi final vs Dromore. Before that league semi final game Dromore had already beaten us by about 15 points. We beat Dromore in the championship this year with half of the panel previous management had. So significant improvement in championship also when you compare it to the previous years worst ever beating vs Edendork in the first round. Give management and the young lads a chance, at least.

The reality is that we came up against a very good Killyclogher side and you can't give a on fire Mark Bradley any amount of space. Imagine we didn't. Big chance to get everyone back fit now too over their off season. I don't think you can blame the managers either for family-club politics that goes on in behind the scenes at a football club either. Huge effort needed to get everyone back from previous bias.

Edendork ain't that bad. 0-14 to 1-4 was the score that day.

Spurs no strangers to a long injury list.

Ange will need to win the Carabao Cup on Mar 16th to save his season.

The CIA was behind the curve on this one. Even the Brits aren't claiming they know of the rebel offensive.

Like Libya break-up 15 yrs ago, the straight lines drawn by the British Foreign Office 100 years ago are not long-standing.

All of those civil servants had of course King and Country at heart. But the clans etc remain.

It's such a strong appointment for Ardboe.

Reminder there that Dungannon / Carrickmore sill await the finish of the Div 1 League.

And it looks like they will have a very long wait with Errigal motoring so well.
