The full time score was Dublin 1-10 Tyrone 0-12.

It took 8 more years for Tyrone to regroup to win their first All Ireland.

Would they have the hunger to win the 3 AI's in the 2000's if they already had won their first in 1995?

Where I used to reside, there wasn't a problem with the (Proddie) guys marching up & down the street once in a while.

Ardoyne/Twaddell will get the usual negative headlines today, but feel free to post here if your local parade passes off without a whim.

In Annamoe, Co Wicklow Ireland has a triple Best Actor Oscar winner. He may be prickly on the job but he gets results. Well done Daniel.

Clarity requested.
It sounds like it is in both Roscommon & Mayo, which county do you play from if from there?

Can the history be summed up in a sentence or two?

Just watched the really slick Miami Ink on Discovery/Nat Geo and the art of tattooing is the place to be, everyone's cool on the street and leaves the 'boutique' with a smile this wide. Turn over to a similar channel and Jodi Marsh:Tattoo Apprentice is on and the her first customer will be her Dad. All easy-peasy no probs viewing.

Turn over to say Sky Sports and young James McClean has his left arm adorned, Fernando Torres has them under the forearm, last week for Setanta Cup I saw a Sligo Rovers player similar.

Is it just me but aren't tattoos still permanent once inked?
Are they then really that cool?

General discussion / Hospital Action Committees
June 30, 2011, 10:51:21 PM
Last night 500 people turned out in Portlaoise to say no to a potential downgrade to 24hr A&E.
Last week it was Roscommon General, with Ming facing off against Enda Kenny.

We've seen Monaghan/Mallow/Omagh etc all go through the same protest process - and what's the endgame? All downgraded eventaully, despite locally-elected reps for the direct ticket.

Is there any point to Hospital Action Committees?

Was on O'Connell St Dublin earlier 2nite folks, the normal plenty of pedestrians & party-goers as you'd expect, but wow the number of taxis was huge beyond any necessity it appeared right then. Yellow-light on the roof after yellow-light after yellow-light........

To anyone, it just gets spooky in the end as the nominated ranks were full with yellow lights all-round & the many many unhired taxis just cruised around & around.

Surely Lonely Planet or another guide-book will pick up this, if not already?
