Anyone stayed in The Marker in Dublin? (Significant) Wedding anniversary in August and had planned to go away but the prices and uncertainty isn't filling me with confidence, so going to give the hard-pressed hoteliers of Ireland some of my money  . Open to other options in Dublin or elsewhere in Ireland. Fancied the Shelbourne but at 500+ a night they can go and shite!

I thought it was a free out as well. Very disappointing for Offaly, they deserved the win.

The sunday game ignored the trip of the Offaly defender coming out with the ball. The ref should have given a free out and glory to Offaly.

Didn't see The Sunday Game but I'm sure they don't want to go in too hard on a group of young lads.

Not long back from it and I think we picked the wrong SF. The bookies had it tight with Clare narrow favourites but it was a disastrous outing for Clare. 24 wides is a shocking statistic. Some drive back to Clare after watching your team put on a show like that.

Not any more. Poor from Ireland in a decent attacking position.
Those to slips from Sexton and Ringrose will prove very costly.

Ringrose has fucked 2 now. He has been passing like he's wearing boxing gloves.

Ah I’ve missed the medical experts talking 

I saw something in the local paper about protests against a 5G mast going up in Tandragee and I laughed to myself that the loopers will be out in force again!

Covid definitely on the march again. Know a good few with it at the minute. Nothing too serious but despite it not killing people it impacts on people's work and general movements.

Sure you couldn't have missed him looking lovingly into <insert name's> eyes! 

It was the naked photo of BC with the Andy Merrigan replica covering his modesty that sealed the deal.

 

I heard it was the medal he got for winning it rather than a replica of the trophy tbh

Evening all.

I've been single for about 6 months now, 35 years old and I'm ready to move on. I've always found it difficult to meet the right type of girl in a pub/club so seriously considering the world of online dating.

Has anyone got any tips on the below topics and beyond these? Any help would be brilliant!

* Photos. Obviously vital but what type of photos? How many?

* Bio. Blank? Short but sweet? Deep and meaningful? Pure humour? If anyone has written a good bio don't be shy on posting it here lol

* Which apps/sites are best in Ireland? I assume paying monthly will give better results.

* Opening line advice for matches. Presumably most ladies are not going to want a generic "Hey, how are you?"

This world is completely new to me and a bit daunting tbh

I know a few people who have been successful with online dating resulting in marriage etc.

As others have said there is no point putting up a photo from years ago and pretending you are something you aren't as it all backfires when you meet up. Just be honest.

If you google how to create best online dating bio there will no doubt be plenty of articles on how to market yourself. I'd send you a link but I'm afraid of the missus checking my google searches

There has been some drivel written about the penalties in the past 24 hours, predominantly by middle-aged women on Facebook, unsurprisingly. Armagh were robbed due to having to kick penalties etc. even though Galway also had the operate in the same conditions.

After seeing Armagh's red card and behaviour today, I think we've been wrong about Tyrone - compared to other teams in Ulster, Tyrone are a sporting, clean, non-cynical team of good honest men.

With the Galway goalkeeper having such a horror show today, you'd have thought the Armagh penalty takers would have been told to at least keep their penalties on target.

They'd have had more success if they hoofed the ball 50 foot into the air from the penalty spot and asked the keeper to gather the high ball. Would take a bit of skill but worth trying!
