42 out of 48 clubs listed, 6 clubs have 100% record of fielding. Not counting Dregish but have included Errigal 4ths so number of clubs is still 48.

The outcome of discussions on reserve competitions from last nights meeting is very disappointing. For years now reserve football has been on its knees. My club discussed this at length and whilst we could see some flaws in decoupling the games we felt it had to be worth a shot in order to try to breathe some new life into the reserve competitions. I am astounded this was defeated by a vote and would love to see a club breakdown. I can see no sense in not trying this approach for at least 1 year. Yes it would take some fine tuning and imagination from clubs with regards to training/picking squads on a weekly basis, but surely it was better than the status quo.

Agreed 36-38 players would seem a reasonable squad.

Are there 45 players on the Tyrone panel??
MAybe a slight exaggeration but it wouldn't be far off

I count 37 based on who I'm aware is involved.

I expect most club footballers have the ambition to play senior football, I can't think of too many who take the easy way out and do it by transferring clubs! Sounds like the man in question is very much about himself, BG_Gael.

I particularly enjoy those people who wear multiple poppy ensembles...maybe a metal pin and a plastic flower.

Clubs are aware of the rules and regulations, why are people still complaining when 'your' clubs rubber stamps this via county or ulster county conventions?

If you're a member of a club you can it a motion through your club to change it. Until then it's what we've got, not my choice but it's difficult to fix

I don't recall my club rubber stamping anything to do with finish on the day protocols being introduced so not sure you are talking logically here.

Are you on your club committiee? These things are talked about and brought up all the time, anything that the county wants to go with needs to be discussed with your clubs county delegate, then he/she feeds that back.

Yes, I am. I also have been advised that this was solely the decision of the Ulster GAA competition committee (as is their right) and clubs were not canvassed.

I wonder how many of the 22,500 entries took to the start line on Sunday? Under 18,000 finished it...it seems to me there isn't much need for a lottery system, more so a need for a transfer timeframe.

A combination of both I think. Once the body started hurting the head started doubting!

Got a PB but had a horrible last half an hour, sub 3.25.
Up to mile 22 was comfortable running but then every step was a battle, but that happens a lot of people.

Plenty of training, resulting in plenty of strains, resulting lots of doubt.

Hurling clubs who win Ulster at Junior and Intermediate level are not allowed to enter the provincial championship at that same level for either 3 or 5 years, someone can confirm that?
