Tipperary will beat Kildare given the way they have been playing. I see the match has been changed to Tipperary town for some reason, presumably just to cause a nuisance to Kildare supporters.

This. I think there is a very good chance that Kildare will not get promoted. Especially if Tipperary beat them.
I thought from the the time that the fixtures were known, that the last three games were going to be our toughest.  And this being the case my hope as that the performances would improve as the league progressed. But I can't be  but be concerned about the performances so far, especially with the toughest matches yet to come.

Surprised that Evans has gone at this stage. It's a month since the shambles in Enniskillen. He recently met Co Board Executive and expressed the desire for another year. This was approved by the Executive and was to be rubber stamped at tonight's meeting of club delegates. There were rumours of opposition in some clubs, but Evans' stance was unexpected.
There was quite a bit of opposition mounting over last weekend.
I suspect Johneen didn't want to take it on if there was a load of opposition in the wings.
Left us better than he found us but League success is no good if you can't produce the goods in Summer.
We were very poor in this year's Championship and it was obvious to many that JE simply wasn't the man to take us any further.
It would have been better if he'd stood down a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks John andgood luck at whatever gig you take next.
What chance the Lillies?  There'll probably be a vacancy  soon!

Kildare 2-19 Longford 0-7.  KFM seem to be having a discussion between the commentators rather than commentating

Lots of patronizing noises of the  "brave little longford" variety from the two lads.

Caught the second-half of the match on KFM Radio on the internet. It seems Kildare were very poor in the first half and were lucky to be only down by 3 pts at half time, and while Kildare picked it up in the second half Gary Connaughton in the Westmeath goal pulled off four great saves. to keep Kildare out. Listening to the commentator  KIldare looked very dejected going in.  The lillies have a fight on now to stay out of D3.

Niotrhing in the rules about having mnore than one website per club. I know Kilmacud Crokes have at least two websites, one for hurling, the other for football. Come to think of it, I think they used to have separate websites for the sevens tournaments as well.

Has anyone on the board had their club sign up to the online club lotto option through "myclubfinances"? We're looking for ways to increase income (like all clubs!) and this was mentioned. If anyone has a view either way on it, it'd be much appreciated.

Any info helps like ease of use, profit after bank charges etc.

Cheers.

Yeah we were looking at this as well a while back 3 or 4 years ago. We contacted a few clubs at the time, but no-one seemed to be making much monedy with it.  We decided that it wasn't worth the expense. Things might have changed since though

At the moment I'm reading this thread using Firefox on Linux and I can see the photos in replies 40 and 41, now I know from the last time I looked at the thread that post 42 has a photo as well, but it is completely missing , not a traced of it using this browser/OS.  But when I look at the phone the photo is still there. Gas isn't it? Hope Monagan go missing like that on Saturday night.

Tell us about it.

A set-to outside the chip shop in Duleek? A disagreeable squabble over a young wan from Kilmessan?

Did he ever pay up and if he didn't I wonder where he bets now?
