Divisions 1 & 2 commencing May 24th.
Division 3 commencing May 5th (Sunday), all Fridays after this. Reserve league commencing Sunday March 24th, every other Sunday.

Are these dates locked in?

Any preseason competition for intermediate and junior commensurate with the Jim Devlin Cup?

Who had a go at Swann?

Andy Allen criticised his decision to stand for Westminster and become a minister in the Executive.

Apparently UUP now discussing Swann not running for Westminster.  Major f**k up as Swann was actually moving to run in a UUP target seat.
Swann would likely win that seat too as he would get a lot of tactical anti DUP votes

The Finance person I have never heard of. In a normal government finance is serious post, with an experienced person. In NI, SF seem to think ministries should be shuffled around for some other objective other than experience.
Caoimhe Archibald has a PhD, had a high profile in previous finance committee and was a regular in the media

Quote from: HalfBack7 on February 02, 2024, 03:35:23 PMAnyone seen the league dates proposed at the meeting with Junior clubs last night. It's great that the CCC are meeting clubs and open to fixing the club seasons. But a few concerns jumped out at me when I seen the proposed dates.

March 10th Start for reserves, too short notice. Club should have been informed earlier
6 games in 3 and a half weeks for juniors clubs s at the end of the season before championship, 8 games in 4 and a half weeks at senior and intermediate at the end of the season.

Business end of the minor season (League Playoffs and Championship games) pencilled in for July and August when families are on holidays cause lets face it not too many families organise their holidays around the July break anymore.

Not sure how well the clash between end of U14/U18 season and start of U16 season will work either. Maybe for the bigger clubs it will be ok. But for smaller clubs who's U16's are made up of players who are playing multiple age groups it is going to be hard to manage.

Those are the
No, but can you please post?

Quote from: God14 on February 01, 2024, 11:56:54 AMCormac Quinn didnt play last night Sigerson - id guess he is out for Sunday after coming off injured against the Rossies. If Kilpatrick doesnt get the suspension overturned in time, we are already looking at two enforced changes to an already inexperienced starting 15

Any word on Joe Oguz? I didnt see him on the sidelines last Sunday.

Any word on King Conn's appeal?

Quote from: johnnycool on January 22, 2024, 03:22:24 PMA lot of questions asked about how the shock Jock was able to call into his own show with a bit of gossip that probably derailed wee Jeffreys attempt to push through a return to Stormont.

Shock Jock as been replaced by Holly Hamilton the last few weeks allegedly but was well enough to call in with his  wee titbit

I think he was on holidays in the States

First three months are tough.  Just ride it out.

And as someone said, tell your partner/OH to try to keep going with the feeding - I switched to bottles during the day at around 4/5 months, and kept feeding myself at night until they dropped those feeds, because I was too pure lazy to go down and make a bottle in the night.  And especially during the winter nights!  My husband obviously agreed with my approach - never once did he have to go and make a bottle during the night (though may have been dispensed for calpol the odd time)  ;D
Thanks for the advice Rois. A new distant relation of yours of course  ;)

Quote from: Eire90 on December 19, 2023, 01:47:44 AMTHE one-sided nature of numerous matches in Junior football in Tyrone, both in the league and championship this past season, gives cause for concern, one of the county's leading officers has warned.
Donaghmore, Killyman, Castlederg, Brocagh would be only 4 that I would say haven't been competitive this year

With Killyman and Brocagh combining underage is there any appetite for a merger? Are both clubs still fielding reserve teams?

Seems the underage of Naomh Brid (Killyman and Brocagh amalgamation) is going well with them winning 2 titles this year in their respected grades. As for the senior reserves teams of both clubs, Killyman conceded all reserve games last year while brocagh conceded 7 reserve games (3 Home games 4 Away games).

Sounds like they could just about field 3 teams, though the same could have been said of Naomh Eoghan.

The risk of an amalgamation is losing players as you are effectively reducing the number of starting berths.

Speaking of which, was their many legacy Dregish players representing Naomh Eoghan last couple of years?
