Quote from: tonto1888 on March 12, 2025, 03:49:18 PMam I right in thinking that after sunday Liverpool dont have another game until April? I chance to rest and recharge the batteries for the league run in

Tonto, no offence but you could line out for Liverpool for the rest of the league and the other teams would still not gather up enough points (between them) to win, I know Pool lads are cautions but this nauseating lol

LOL.Id be confident the league is over but nothing wrong with being able to rest up and get ready for the last 8 games

Quote from: snoopdog on March 08, 2025, 10:09:46 AMAntrim players should line out in corrigan . Let the ulster council sell.the tickets and then have to refund everyone that showed up in Newry.
Corrigan or nowhere.

I would then suggest fining Antrim the sum of the revenue lost.

Yes exactly, because when you're at the top, crush everything below you, that's the modern world

Nobody from Armagh, apart from the guy saying fine Antrim, wants to crush them.

At 44 my playing days are long gone sadly. Just as a spectator. Cheers for the replies so far

Quote from: groundlie on March 07, 2025, 07:34:44 AMI think I'm right in saying Corrigan Park as had capacity crowds in recent years with the visits of Cork and Kilkenny.
The requirements were not mentioned much then and a great day out was had by the children of Antrim watching their heroes on their own turf.

On those days there were feck all people coming from Cork or Kilkenny. This is not true of Armagh. Even if this was shoehorned into Casement there would be few children from Antrim watching, there would be Armagh season ticket holders, player's families, a few big shots from the sponsors and that's it, no ordinary punter from Antrim would get in.
Funny you say that but at the recent waterford game there was plenty of waterford fans in corrigan.

Must be lies. Amarghniac, who wasn't there, knows a lot better then you

Alright folks. Armagh blow in here. The missus lives on the Antrim Road, near the waterworks. I'll be moving up over the summer. Who would be the local GAA clubs ?

How was Antrim v Laois by chance? Was at Armagh Dublin two of top six best teams in county.

I wasn't talking about the gsme, you couldn't help yourself but hey ho..

The constant stopping of the game near the finish when the ref looked unsure on what he was doing with the 3v3 rule

Would that not have been on the linesman?

Quote from: general_lee on February 19, 2025, 10:18:14 AMI have seen some yappy Armagh fans on social media. Will the GAA compensate them the cost of a ticket to try and shut them up?

Playing the match in Corrigan is the right thing to do. All Ireland Champions in town and the GAA needs as much promotion as possible in Belfast (as a much as the ground isn't up to standard).

Given the balls up Ulster GAA made with Casement they owe Antrim this (and more!)
Think its only fair that season ticket holders who miss out are compensated in some way.

Tbh the vast majority of Armagh fans I've spoken to are in agreement with Antrims stance.

Why? They don't get the first game free anymore

Quote from: Nanderson on February 17, 2025, 06:30:14 AMIt's not in the vote but I'd go for the advancement for slowing down play or not handing ball back to opponent. The rule itself is good but the penalty is much to severe. Half the distance would suffice

Agree with this one. Potential 2 points for a free also

Heartbreaking. That said, I think we'd have lost in extra time
