If another footballing striker comes in during January, Spurs will tick along like this or better for the whole season. There's plenty of competition for all other spots, but the way Spurs play, the centre forward has to be a footballer more than a finisher. Pav and Defoe aren't the fellas for the role. It has been a disgrace the way Marian Price has been treated. Sinn Fein should be ashamed of themselves in the way they have handled this. I know she is of opposong views but this is a woman who has been locked up without being charged or going on trial while McGuiness and co sit back and let this happen. Another poor result today but at least we scored. We seem to be conceding goals easily and not creating many chances.

Moyes hands are tied due to lack of funds but he is going to have to look at the strategy of playing 1 up front which has served him so well for so long. This was great when we had Arteta,Pienaar and Tim Cahill weighing in with goals but if you have 5 in midfield you need some of them scoring.

Donavan signing in January will provide a lift and if we could bring in a decent striker we should be ok for a top 10 finish.

Cliftonville have agreed fee with Swansea but player has not agreed personal terms. Cliftonville have set a deadline of Christmas Eve to sort things but rumours are that we have made contact with them.
