We have just over a year left on a 5 year fixed rate. We were thinking of rebroking with the bank early but will cost a few thousand in redemption charges. Do people thinks rates will change that much over the next 12 months?

Coady was a season ticket holder in Anfield growing and was seen as Carras heir apparent in being a home grown, slow as f**k, defender. He was too slow as f**k though. One of the the reasons he had been doing well in Wolves was Nuno’s ultra conservative 3 at the back tactic. He generally played the centre of the 3 and is a decent player and a good organiser. That’s why Southgate likes him in the England squad. Once Wolves went to a back 4 his pace started to get exposed hence why he dropped down the pegging order.

This move is purely to get game time so that he can get into the England WC squad. He will be guaranteed a start for Everton but couldnt guarantee that at West Ham who also were looking at him on a permanent basis. He is a solid CB who will compliment Tarkowski. With the other likely signings of Onana and Gueye Lampard is creating Joe Royles Dogs of War mark 2.

There’s a wee club in Greencastle trying to break down the boundaries in the predominantly loyalist Rathcoole and surrounding area. We move from pitch to pitch subject to what’s available. Have us out goals damaged, stuff stolen, the one designated grass pitch we were supposed to have has now been turned back to a soccer pitch, maybe a wee hand from Croke Park would be good but we are not sexy enough to attack…..

That’s an attack on Bryson and his ilk by the way not EB who are doing great work. A very wise person said last year the inevitable is happening. Nothing can stop it. The pain and suffering which will be meted on the nationalist and republican communities over the next 5 years will be hard, even by our ‘own’. The census results could be a serious torch light. Prepare for a full frontal.

There are names of mount Vernon uvf members being circulated on tiktok. Is mount Vernon near there? Terribly sad for his mum. It would be nigh on impossible to get over the death of a child but this is beyond.

Mount Vernon is across the road from where he was found. I suspect the names you are referring to are the names I’ve been told. Won’t make it public here but it’s kinda ‘dogs on the street’ but the net can’t tighten for whatever reason.

Ronaldo, in his first pre-season game, had been replaced at half-time.

He was pictured leaving with Diogo Dalot, who had sat in the directors' box with several players, all of whom left 10 minutes before the end.

"We are a team and that means you stay until the end," Ten Hag told Viaplay.

"This is unacceptable, for all those involved.

fair play to him, what have they got away with previously.

Des Mackin (Cullyhanna) played four years as a minor for Armagh.

1990 - played centre back
1991 - played full forward and scored a hattrick in the the first round Vs Down
1992 - played full forward on the team that won Ulster and lost the All Ireland final to a last minute Meath goal
1993 - played full forward and played for the seniors the same year

Same Des Mackin that played for Na Fianna in Dublin?

Think you’re right. Watched it there recently whilst I was hunting on YouTube for some stuff….always nice to reminisce!

Compromise ongoing criminal case allegedly….it’s rotten and stuff is being covered. Will come out in years to come when the poor mother has gone off her rocker

I think she is probably approaching that state, and that isn’t a criticism. It would probably be the same for most of us

I think I read somewhere that the legal team had a high police officer from outside the north reviewing it but then SOS put in PII??? SOunds bad.

Another point which doesn't get enough attention the police say this lad who I believe was very tall for his age? Crawled naked through this tight concrete storm drain which has all sorts of debris in there and his body was in near perfect condition when they found him.

It sounds as though the body was put in the storm drain by someone.

I won’t put it up what I have been told but it stinks to high heaven. I will never forget the days after he went missing and the door to door stuff round north Belfast. The whole community gathered together but one part of it closed itself off and rallied the troops, both in their illegal and legal ranks. From memory there were a number of assaults on butch sides round that time. Young ‘nationalist’ lad attacked by a gang on the Limestone and a few ‘loyalist’ lads beaten up round the Water Works. The fear in the community that this was another Thomas Devlin was palpable, particularly given the proximity of it to where he was murdered.

The timing of when it happened too was important as it was at the height of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and there was potentially racial elements to this given the colour of his skin. I don’t necessarily believe it was racial but the optics can sometimes be different to the reality.

This will only ever come out in fullness when a proper enquiry is carried out, which will not happen while the PII is in existence. Another dirty act from this dirty place.

Theres teams like Fulham Everton Norwich and suchlike would bite yer hand off for such a medal

In fairness they’d have either won the league or cup so these medals would mean feck all. Classless all the same if they refused and if that is how they will approach things that sets a very poor example for the rest of the season.

Anyway, nice win but means nothing. Get a run going till the World Cup and then we can talk about where the season is going

Nope. His da was MF for the Armagh seniors by times back in the early 80’s, Des senior. Big hoor as a child. His a cousin of mine through our grannies. Was some footballer,  a real man child. Still in good shape too though he prefers selling cupcakes in Spain!!!
