No market for it....this poll has managed to expose the fact that soda bread has never been heard of, in certain parts anyway. An unexpected result.

I think we've all heard of soda bread.

WTF is "farl" was the question. :)

Black and White pudding are a must as is a soft fried egg, hash browns are nice but not essential. If it's an evening fry rather than for breakfast then would have to have chips with it. Beans are like hash browns  nice, and completely acceptable part of a fry, but not essential.
A good cut of brown bread smothered in real butter also an excellent addition to any fry.
You'd know you're a Queen's man.

What is soda farl??

I'm assuming some kind of bread?
Have never heard of it before either.
Also who puts brown sauce on anything nevermind on a fry...weirdos.

First time I got a fry in b&b down south and it came out without soda bread or potato bread.

There are no proofs, only opinions.

omaghjoe

Fried wheaten???

Beans on a fry are nothing short of a disgrace. Pure filler shite. Tomato sauce on a fry is a similar level abomination... townie crap!

And while we're on condiments mustard has to be on there no its bits or maybes

Wheres the f**king sausages!!

And the bacon?

AKA Rashers for our Southern friends.

as a young fella away for the weekend in a Feile at 12 years of age in Wexford, had never heard of rashers and politely refused it, but asked could I get some bacon instead....

Square Ball

Soda, potato bread, sausages, bacon, fried eggs, they have to be runny.
Thats it, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, all an abomination.

I'm glad to see no one has descended to fried bread yet. You'd be as well just getting a bottle of oil and pouring it over the plate.

Ehh hello....what do you think they do with the Soda bread

Toast it?

f**k that....fried in the left over grease from the salty bacon...only job!!!

Maybe I need to clarify, no issue with dropping it into a frying pan and giving it a quick sizzle. I'm more on about the deep fried stuff. (That goes for your farl as well Illdecide).

The poll is anonymous but I think it is important we root out the person who likes tinned tomatoes on their fry. I'm going for Ziggy90 or one of the other England dwellers.

I think the clue might lie with who even put it up there to begin with.....

And its insignificant in comparison to the 20 philistines who clicked on beans

Probably call them "tinned toms" into the bargain.

lurganblue

Someone taking the piss with tinned tomatoes. Are they not just used for pasta sauces etc?

JoG2

Anyone throw on a wee bit of fried mince if it's lying about? Nice

;D I have had it before in a fry in England and not to be repeated, but it's on the list as a viable option for the more depraved corner of the gaaboard.
