Black and White pudding are a must as is a soft fried egg, hash browns are nice but not essential. If it's an evening fry rather than for breakfast then would have to have chips with it. Beans are like hash browns  nice,and completely acceptable part of a fry, but not essential.
A good cut of brown bread smothered in real butter also an excellent addition to any fry.

Maybe I need to clarify, no issue with dropping it into a frying pan and giving it a quick sizzle. I'm more on about the deep fried stuff. (That goes for your farl as well Illdecide).

I have had it before in a fry in England and not to be repeated, but it's on the list as a viable option for the more depraved corner of the gaaboard.
