Brian Mullins RIP. A giant of the 1970s and 80s has passed on. Everyone who was privileged to see him in his glory days will never forget his power and passion on the field. Rest in peace Brian

Iconic midfielder himself & Jacko were 2 seriously brilliant midfielders back in the day. One handed catches, hard man. Won a club all Ireland in 76 with St Vincent's, beating Ros Gaels in final. Pretty sure he was a teacher for a time in Derry, some of the Derry city lads here might confirm that. He managed Derry at one stage.

Think he was a principal in Donegal in mid 90s and that was when Derry had him as their manager. Won Ulster in 98.

Yes, largest secondary school in Ireland at the time. Carn community school principal from 91 till ?. Thought he did at stint in St Columbs too.

I played against him one day towards the end of his career and an average player from our team caught a high ball against him and said "answer that Mullins" His reply immediately was 4 All Ireland's 9 Leinster's
