https://www.rte.ie/sport/football/2022/1007/1327737-early-retirement-for-orourke-to-fully-focus-on-meath/
Colm O'Rourke has said he will take early retirement from his role as school principal in order to concentrate fully on the Meath senior football management position.
O’Rourke also revealed that as well as having Stephen Bray, Barry Callaghan, Paul Garrigan and Eugene Eivers in his backroom team, there would also be a role for Sean Boylan, the man who managed the Royals to Sam Maguire glory in 1987, 1988, 1996 and 1999.

I am going to enjoy watching this fall asunder.

So am I.

I think it's stupid to move the finals to January.

Seems our new manager will be appointed by County Final day (23/10).
Allegedly/rumoured that the people to be interviewed are
Fergal O'Donnell
Nigel Dineen
Pat Flanagan
James McCartan.

Who would you prefer out of the four?

Local journalist thinks it's not true :o

Connaught Telegraph announced it, next thing a well known Mayo journalist dismisses it. Mad stuff altogether.

Won the 2nd half 3-2 progress!

Seriously though it doesn't paper over the cracks of a total horror show of a 1st half that allowed City stroll to such an easy 3 points thanks to schoolboy defending and zero intensity from United.

Beat Liverpool, Arsenal then well beaten by City conceding six goals what will this inconsistent United team do next is the main question after today.

Go on a long run of 1-1 draws.

No complaints from me about the result today. Mitchels kept us at arms length all through. Should have had a lineball with a few minutes to go however, it was given to Castlebar. Had enough of the ball in injury time but didn't pull the trigger. Orme despite shooting wide at least had a go. The other games went as expected, although I am somewhat surprised at the Ballina result. I can't understand Claremorris, yes they're a big fish in South Mayo at underage but by God they really underachieve at senior level. Sticking my neck out, I think it'll be a Ballina v Westport final with the Stephenites to prevail.

Are the Mayo men going with the same design?

Yes, sane design.

Does Ros need a Novena?
Donegal could go to Lough Derg for the dry bread.

Roscommon could go to Knock.
