Thought McKernan played rightly. Was unlucky with the slip.

Kane is some boy.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Just heard that on this day 11 years ago Dungannon lost a junior semi final to Newtownstewart. And of course Dungannon beat Trillick in Intermediate final in 2014

Was also 10 years ago this year that the Clarkes lost a Junior Championship game against Stewartstown in Ardboe by 6 points despite having 2 extra players for nearly the entire second half.
Even as recent as 2 years ago we played them in a league game and I thought they looked average enough. There's been absolute massive improvement in those 2 seasons from the Clarkes and fair play to them. Hope they go one better than 1986.

Ordhan Robinson looks like a player but Errigal Ciaran 8 years now with out a championship.

Sean Cavanagh a bad pundit.

A good league team. Numbers keep them top of their game but they do not have another gear for championship.

RTE should perhaps do the public a service and end coverage at this point. Errigal are so negative!! Can't blame Mickey Harte on that. If Errigal started to move the ball this game would be dead.

If the great hope Donaghy was fit to compose himself Dungannon would have won the game.

These comments aged well. 🙄Unbelievably tense and exciting finish and Donaghy kicks 8 points including a few beauties under huge pressure. Dungannon's tackling was just superb tonight and to maintain that level of commitment over the full game and extra time (three weeks in a row too) displayed a level of heart and desire to win not seen in a Clarkes team for many a year. If you found that game boring and wished RTE pulled it then you really are in the wrong sport.
That was never a square ball!!

Both games were great entertainment - good value.

Morgan made a big diifference when he came on for Dungannon - should start in final.  Some fantastic scores in both games.
Dungannon must be super fit to go to extra time in all the games.

Really is hard to beat the the club championship.  Pity there's no provincial championship this year.

Did correct that statement at the end of extra time. The game was awful upto that point and Spillane was spot on when he said it at half time and again at the end of normal time. It was poor. Mainly down to Errigals slow build up and refusal to break lines.

The extra time was end to end and the game opened up. Donaghy stood up turned over the ball and kicked that excellent point with the outside of his boot.

The 45 to finish the game under that pressure was drama at its best.

Happy to clarify those comments  8)

I agree it was a poor match in normal time. It was nowhere near as good as the first game. Extra time was far better than what preceded it.

Credit to dungannon great performance. Errigal were very disappointing.

At least local expert will leave healy park a happy man.

Definitely not happy.  Chances wasted to draw the game unfortunately.

However it's nice to see a traditional club like dungannon come back and turnover a manufactured club like ballygawley that remain favourites in games like that because Peter the greats YouTube video https://youtu.be/8PVJtHiR-qk

From an outsider, I really enjoyed watching the Tyrone club games on tv.  It's a weird one, all we here is coverage of nasty brawls in Tyrone club matches but these games were great adverts.  How your County team is so robotic and disliked is hard to understand?
Great to see lads like Donaghy and Ryan Jones in that Dungannon team, boys you'd never see otherwise.  I liked the way Donaghy missed a couple of frees and it didn't seem to bother him at all, expression never changed and then he fired one over under pressure with the outside of the boot and clips over the next few frees without a fuss.  Good sign of his mentality.
Thought the Dungannon coach did a good interview on tv afterwards as well - down to earth.  We done Tyrone club football.

Should they consider doubling the ulster championship next year for counties that had two winners so that a team that wins this year gets a shot at ulster glory example if all 9 counties have two different winners have  an 18 team ulster championship.

Manufactured club   :) :)... bit rich coming from a team that have dipped into killyman and brackaville for players. Suppose you lot will send Mc gahan back after last night, it sort of reminded me of that episode of the toughest trade where roberto Wallace the Miami dolphin nfl player played a friendly for breaffy at full forward.. Face it you never looked like drawing that game last night far better team won, trillick toyed with use for 20 minutes then stepped on gas when needed. Bit like our own game better team won and we can have no complaints. What I will compliment coalisland is the service plunkett Kane continually gives some player. Carried the fight alone last night.

Should be a good final.

I think that's a bit much. It's tough luck for this year really whoever wins it.

I think the Championship being held at this time of the year certainly helps Trillick and the type of game they play, they have lots of fairly slight, skillful players and the firmer ground and drier conditions allows them to use their talents to better effect than the usual winter championship conditions.

Ulster GAA could run the 2019 provincial championship , mid week under lights. Only issue would be double winners in certain counties !
