Reinstate ONL IMO!!hes a likeable poster, sometimes immature but not always and always gave something constructive to conversations not to mention the odd tip here and there with football and horses!Corn was very liverpool and armagh orientated, after those two subjects he was a bit lost.

i cannot see how anyone can make a constructive argument not to have andy reid on the ireland squad given some of the players on it ahead of him - andy keogh, liam miller(without a club for a long time until recently),darren gibson.
IMO hes quite a bit ahead of andrews and glenn whelen in terms of talent/ability whatever you want to call it although his work rate hasnt always been the best.i would definitely have him starting in the irish 11 but everyone has their own opinion.
so what if him and trappatoni had a bust up,i think trappatonis unbelievably stubborn attitude to team selection and tactics is going to cost us dearly somewhere down the line.
surely with the money trappatoni is being paid he can kiss and make up with andy reid.lee carsley also very unlucky not to be in the squad as is keith fahey and the young guy mccann at burnley shouldnt be far away either.sadly i cant see trapp changing his ways....

saw the highlights last night, celtic played some neat stuff for what was largely a 2nd string side, although spurs did miss a few sitters.was speakn to a guy that was at the game, said mccourt was magic.the run he went on from near the half way line, beat 4 or 5 men and just put it past the post was brilliant, unlucky and a typical mccourt type run,if he had scored it would have been shown several times yesterday and today on skysports.com.
he seemed to be playing in a fairly central role although i still think hes best on the wing as his defensive capabilities to be playing in the central could be a bit suspect.if he can stay clear of injury and thats a big if i really think he could be first choice back up to mcgeady and maloney who most likely will be the first choice wide men.i think he'' get a fair crack of the whip with mowbray as mowbray after all tried to take him from derry city to west brom

hopefully derry get a big result 2nite,need it even more so financially than for another cup run for the suporters,i hear the finances aint so good.saw 2nd half of the bohs game on sunday, derry were very poor in the final 3rd,morrow,farren and stewart created next to nothing.hard luck on bohs last nite!

would still like to see everyone get at least another game maybe two but id say at least half the test slots are not far off being nailed on already.jenkins and wyn jones had superb games 2nite,phillips and jones looked a very good partnership.ROG may well have problems dislodging jones, whilst he did very little wrong at the weekend, mcgeechan might just opt for the welsh partnership.id say 4 of the back 5 are done and dusted barring injury (byrne, bowe, odriscoll and roberts).
still 2 out of the back row will be irish, wallace or ferris to join heislip.croft can certainly move about a pitch, great athleticism and good line out option.

must also remember that whilst the lions were very good tonight, they had it very easy, the golden lions looked very ordinary.we'll know a lot more a week b4 the test obviously.hope ocallaghan and fitzgerald have big games this weekend!!!

would have to agree,a very poor performance from the lions.admittedly the opposition is likely to have been the poorest of the teams they will play but then again its maybe been a few weeks since some of the lions players have had a game.earls had an absolute nitemare early on but did improve a fair bit as the game went on but still only a shadow of the player you see with munster.bowe looked comfortable enough as did williams and byrne in the back line, roberts had a decent game too.in the forwards the back row was pretty average although id far rather see david wallace at 7 rather than 8.
at least the got the victory, would have been a very big blow to morale to lose today,i expect a much improved performance on wednesday with the likes of odriscoll, ocallaghan, heislip likely to get a start.

the free kick highlighted our inability to defend set pieces,IMO that reflects on a team playing badly.the own goal wouldnt have happened if a)theo had bothered his balls to track back after cole and b)that clown fabianski had of stayed on his line or even had better positioning,he nearly tripped over/fell into toure whereas if he had been on his line he would have cleared toures attempt.we could have scored 4/5,we conceded 4 and easily could have conceded another 2-3 goals, that would made the scoreline 7-5.
