Fr ted and the IT crowd were very good. Early doors was brilliant and the Royle family very good also. Schitts creek is pretty good on netflix. I liked Gavin and Stacey also.

My favourite black adder especially series 3 and 4.
Only fools good. but not as good as it is made out.

I know not necessarily a comedy but Arthur Daly in Minder is one of the best characters to have appeared on the box.

And I'll throw in Oz from Auf Wiedershen as another great comic character.

Would definitely agree on Arthur Daly I have caught some old reruns on ITV4 recently and really enjoyed them

A lot of the newer comedies wouldn't be great,  hard to beat the older ones.

A relatively new one I binge watched was 2 doors down. Thought it was very funny. Will give it another go again.

Agree. It should have finished before the last couple of seasons but I could easily watch every episode from ep 1.

Allo Allo was good  fun. You'd think regular catchphrases  would get boring , but it never  did.  Officer  Crabtree   had sim  groot lunes.

You do need to try  harder with only fools. Took me years  to get into it , but  it was a work of  genius. The last three  episodes were  a mistake though.

Liked Fools and Horses at the time.  Don't think it aged well at all, any time I've watched it over the past 10 years or so.

I'd agree with Orior re the other shows he mentioned (though I've never seen Mrs. Browns).

Have I Got News for You, back when Angus Deayton was doing it was consistently good.  As were shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad, at least for some of their seasons.

Loved it & it's still funny, has aged well. It successfully survived the change of the reclusive flat owner character (Ben Chaplin to Neil Stuke) which is not easy done! Men behaving badly did it too, improved considerably from Harry Enfield to Neil Morrisey era.

Original cast were good in the first season, lead actor changed for second season. Was ok, not same league as others out during that time
