Agree on Kneecap. I had it in my head it was going to be some documentary style thing about the Irish language but it was great.

The Kneecap film is like Peaky Blinders in that people seem to feel compelled to say its class. Kneecap was pretty average.

Gladiator 2 was average at best too.

Thought Kneecap film was excellent and deserves all the hype... certainly don't feel compelled to think that. Haven't enjoyed an Irish band as much since Horslips. Love how they have made the Irish language so modern I suppose when I think of the dreary teachers, many with dog collars, boring us to death with it and is a huge bonus that they annoy Unionism/loyalism and the Brits so  much...

I'd flip that on it's head, if people like a film / show, ones then feel compelled to say they don't... Exhibit A above

For what it's worth, PB was good, not great, Kneecap I thought was brilliant, and I've zero interest in rap music

Thought Kneecap was a superb film, had zero interest in going to see it but was very pleasantly surprised when I did.

Mufasa - story ok but very disappointed in the music. Not great from the legend Lin Manuel Miranda IMO.

Watched Bird, Barry Kernoghan one of the main actors in it, very much in the Ken Loach style of films, gritty & grim but decent.

Wicked was good, albeit unnecessarily long and they made a balls of Defying Gravity with all the interruptions.

Watched Gladiator 2 today, entertaining enough, but guff in reality. Rinse & repeat with the script from G1.

Just watched Conclave. Good show. Ralph Fiennes was fantastic - can see award nominations for him.

Yup, thought it was great. Political thriller with the Vatican twist was very good. Final act a touch telegraphed.
