Tom Huddlestone tribute act, shocking player

Look-Up!

The worry is he looks so short of pace and physicality but surely can't be as bad as that. Maybe the new man can work with him over time but I don't think he'll contribute much this season.

If he is what he has shown so far and getting 100K a week, a lot of people at Utd need sacking.

Good spell from Ruud but I think that will be it for him by the sound of things.

Hopefully the new man can get some level of consistency out of this bunch but that could be easier said than done.

It will be interesting to see what system and style he goes with and who he think fits into that.

Scott McT with another goal and rave reviews in 1-1 draw at the San Siro to keep Napoli top of Serie A

Why is this a thing anymore? do supporters of clubs just randomly put up when a player scores for another club? How's Pogba getting on?

In fairness Utd fans loved this behaviour with Ronaldo, and even continued to tout him as the greatest player ever.

Who Pogba? Fergie got rid of him, and nothing changed when he came back, and when he left, well, its not difficult to see how bad a person he is

Add to the fact that McT's sale was not a football decision, he left, good luck, move on.

Poor enough start to the Amorim era at the weekend after going a goal up in first few minutes. He will need time especially given the fact that the majority of players aren't used to the system and majority away with national teams.

Eriksen at this stage of his career playing in a midfield two is just asking to be overrun.  Interesting that Mainoo didn't get any minutes at all.  Was surprised that he started Rashford through the middle instead of Hojlund but he put the ball in the net something Hojlund hasn't done consistently since he was signed.  Would expect them to turn Everton over at weekend then big test away to Arsenal especially with Odegaard back and into a bit of form.

Some of the squad had one session with the new Manager/ system prior to the weekend, hence why he went with the players who weren't on international duty.

I think he is switched on enough to know how big a job he has on his hands with that squad the way it is.

Anything I've seen or heard from him so far has been good in terms of what he wants to do even in terms of the culture etc

I would expect him to do well seems to have abit about him compared to the like of ETH/LVG/Moyes etc.

trileacman

For a guy touted as speaking several languages his English is pretty poor. Compared with Slot, Arteta or Guardiloa his use of the language is second rate. His interview after the game showed very poor communication. His answer to the 2nd question here is just gibberish.

Good result at the weekend.

Still massive holes in the team, but there are green shoots of a system. Get a bit of confidence back into the players and see where they can go over the rest of the season.

Something very likeable about the new manager, hopefully he can make the team more likeable in turn.

Knock Yer Mucker In

Utd look very organised in comparison to previous shapes under Ten Hag in this game. Applying pressure to the opposition and preventing Arsenal from cutting out any chances from play. Definitely small improvements, they may concede a gl but liking what I'm seeing, small positive step's being taken

They will be working on not conceding corners during the week.
