Quote from: J70 on October 28, 2024, 12:37:10 PMYer man from Sporting who Liverpool were looking at before he alienated them with his West Ham nonsense- Amorim.

Will he be in the running?

The 3 mentioned over the weekend were Xavi, Amorim and Thomas Frank. There was talk previously about Nagelsmann and Southgate. Feck knows where they go from here

Replacing the man who lost to Tottenham in the CL semis with a man who lost to Ole's Utd team that included a centre mid pairing of Fred and Weghorst ... not advisable. Would also expect Xavi to do his Barca mates a favour ETH style and go after a few overpriced recruits from his former club

Garth or Roy ideally

I said for a long  time it will be Southgate. Still a good chance it  could be , as interim possibly

Bring in Rooney as  assistant , obviously.  I'll  give you a minute on  that one......

losing to Ole's Utd team matters? sure Pep Guardiola City team lost 4 times to his team.  Roy Keane is a non runner (check odds)  Southgate remains an option because Dan Ashworth the current sporting director of United appointed him as England manager.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Quote from: J70 on October 28, 2024, 12:35:12 PMYeah, he should have told them to go f**k themselves and walked with his dignity intact instead of enduring United's undisguised, basically public, but ultimately futile, head hunting for a successor. At least he gets the extra severance... I'm assuming?

£17.5m worth of dignity...

If Radcliffe is so tight they won't fly their young players to the Ballon d'Or so expect him to worm his way out of that payment..

Southgate incoming.

The rest of the names are just BS.

Roy Keane the fan's choice.

as long as it's not Southgate.

Surely someone like Nagelsman would be the target?

The Germans might let him go if Red Bull allows Klopp to juggle two jobs.

Sad to see ETH go! He gave the fans* so many good days and will be missed.

It'd be great to see Roy get the job. But the Utd board can't be that dumb - can they?

A United source said: "We have put everything we can in place to develop and we are not seeing an improvement."

Ferguson managed United 1,500 times.   Amount of matches managers have been in charge of United since he retired

Moyes 51
Giggs 4
Van Gaal 103
Mourinho 144
Solskjaer 168
Carrick 3
Rangnick 29
Ten Hag 128

Reported the Ruud van Nistelrooy is short time instead of interim manager until the end of the season so that suggest they'll select a manager who's currently not tied up to another job.  Will be interesting to see will the new manager be able to stop the high amount of injuries and suddenly have players scoring big chances instead of wasting them.

If INEOS bring in a cheap option or Southgate it will prove they adding to the many years of incompetence under the Glazers.

Remarkable just how bad a job people can do behind the scenes of a football club. There's more wrong at United than the man in the dugout. That person is interchangeable but they need a clear and concise plan. Ashworth has good credentials but even he could get buried at the shit show that it is United these days.

Man united transfer spend since Ten Hag took over has been over half a billion,

Theyve spent over £1billion in the last ten years.

But it's the Glazers fault...

What exactly did Wilcox do at City?

What exactly is he doing at United?

Ten Hag was terrible. 2 years and not one noticeable style in how they played. At least Van Gaal had his pass sidewards/backwards and no shots on goal style.

OGS is the way to go. United should admit they were wrong letting him go.
