A league table never lies so it's safe to say Celtic are the second best team in Europe ;D

Fair play to anyone that managed to watch that full Arsenal v Atlanta match on RTE tonight without falling asleep.

Is there anything more unfair than the current set up in the champions league? All the teams playing different teams yet competing in the same league table. It won't last long.

I don't know. Each team plays 8 different team as opposed to 3. More Variety. More novel pairings. No Europa League Parachute. The table will be interesting to look at at the half way stage.

Probably won't last long. It's what the GAA are looking to move away from in the football championship from 2026 with games with more jeopardy.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Donegal club championship not similar to this?

Aston Villa v Bayern Munich was heading towards 0-0 result until Manuel Neuer decided to do a bit of day dreaming, Jhon Duran to his credit took advantage of the situation.

Neuer was 30 yards out for most of the game.  A few other villa players definitely contemplated the long range effort but didnt think they were close enough.

Emery set the Villa team up so well last night. Sit in, close space, break up play where you can and isolate Watkins/Duran with one of their centre backs. Upamecano lucky to stay on the pitch.  Would Arteta have gotten pelters for setting up like that?

Bayern are a quality side. Kimmich ran the show. And when they inevitably get the odd chance, Emi Martinez is some man for the big nights.

Agree with all of this, was a compelling game to watch, something of a smash and grab but fully deserved and great to see a club who were in the doldrums not so long ago rise and have a great night, fully deserved

Look-Up!

That was some atmosphere. Incredible turnaround for their fans last couple of years.
Martinez was immense.

Where Neuer was when the shot was taken and he didn't dive until the ball was past him. As I said already credit to Jhon Duran for taking advantage of a situation that was poor goal keeping.
