Anyone any history of using them or lucky enough to get a win? Only know of a couple of people that have and generally its £25 or a couple of hundred.

I generally get a couple of hundred quid in prizes every month, which comes in handy. But, I touched for a £100,000 win on them, in June 2023. So the initial investment definitely paid off.

I think the in laws have touched for a few bigger prizes but currently for a 6 month period I'm sitting at 8% winnings for the investment.. Which is better than the saving account.

Do you keep the same numbers or have you cashed out and put back in for a different set?

I can recall that i cashed some in, to fund a trip to Australia, back in 2019; when I topped them back up again, I got a new block with different numbers. It's 'supposed' to be completely random, so I'm not sure if it's more favourable to have them all in 1 large block, or to have different blocks.

Nice one.

I have had them for a few years now and nothing more than a couple of hundred in terms of winning.

Can always hope for a big one

I don't own any additional properties but would be open to the idea, my take on it is it's a long term investment and not a short term. I suppose the Government rape the hole of u for these investments too.

Its definitely not as attractive as it used to be. I was/am an accidental landlord when me and the missus got together and it was "all right" even though I had bought at the wrong time i.e. house prices were not increasing. However, when the treasury changed the legislation around deductibility of interest from taxable profits it was not great. I had a house that was not increasing in value and I was getting hit with tax on "profits" even through the rent did not cover the mortgage.
