Would Idah be a poor man's Hartson?

And if so then there's a huge glass ceiling and you just gotta accept the deficiencies and be glad the day he makes the occasional contribution which to be fair he has

SaffronSports

I think he's a decent player at our level. His is one of the hardest jobs about. Play maybe 20/30 mins a match and make an impact in that time which I think he's more than done. Different option from Kyogo too. Kyogo is a great footballer but some of those away games in Scotland you nearly have to win the fight before you can win the football and he brings that.

Look-Up!

Hartson with over 50 PL goals? You'd be talking very poor.

That Zagreb left back Pierre-Gabriel looks the part and he can play both left and right side, just the type of player Celtic could use.

A win against Young Boys clinches qualification and they have been the worst team so far.

-- Just looked at the table again and realized PSG or Stuttgart could end up on 13 points so 12 would not necessarily be enough

SaffronSports

The more I look at the table I think we will need more than 9 points so definitely need to beat them I think.

out of the 12 teams below 24th, 4 cant match us for points, and another 4 could get a maximum of 9, the same as we are on. You would like to think we will beat Young Boys which would give us 12 and hopefully be enough. Havent seen the fixtures for the other teams around us yet though

Just get the home win in the next game in Jan. and take it from there.

That's all that matters.

Bit nervous about the final tomorrow. Celtic haven't been at their best the last 2 or 3 weeks and Rangers have picked up a bit of form. Think the midfield selection will be crucial, I love Reo but Celtic can't afford one of his off days tomorrow. Bernardo in his place for me.

Calmac, Bernardo and who?

Engels. McCowan would be my pick but he obviously can't play.

SaffronSports

Aye he's cup tied isn't he?

Rodgers generally has them bang on it in these games. Thought we looked a bit tired on Tuesday night but the Tuesday - Sunday break and them playing on Thursday should help. Cup final, derby, it's going to be tough regardless of how bad they've been

marty34

Yeah, the other day Rangers were 4/1 which was/is a crazy price.

A derby plus 50/50 support.

Maybe Celtic start playing now #complacency

I had just commented on Taylor that he was doing alright so far, regardless I thought Kasper should have deflected that shot wide instead of what he did do.
