Bad goal to give away there by CCV.

Schoolboy stuff.

Need to stay in it until half-time. Brugges are decent. Celtic seemed to be complacent. The Belgians started on the front foot, got on the bll and kept the crowd quiet.

Very bad goal to give away. At this point has 3-0 to Brugge written all over it.

Hard earned point, Club Bruges are a good side.

No bad teams in this competition. One defeat in five games a good return to date, Bruges are a very tough opponent. Three more chances to get a few more points, we would all have settled for this at the start.

A good point. Bruges were good. Celtic were like 'the old Celtic in the Champion's League'. Looked nervous and sloppy.

I think they were complacent, especially in first half. Just thought with all the hype, we'll turn up and we'll turn it on.

Bruges were very well prepared and technically were excellent. They got on the ball early and shut the crowd down.

Hopefully that's another lesson learned.

The results to date would indicate there's plenty, Celtic to be fair have done really well outside of the Dortmund hammering.

Draw a good result. CCV getting some flak for the og but I expect better positioning from the goalie. I'd like to see Valle and Bernardo get more game time at this level. Bit of a Sevconian vibe about the Brugge support so glad they got the goal disallowed.

Schmeichel had moved across to give an option to the previous man to be fair. Your centre half can't just play it back without looking and blame the keeper.

Agreed. The goalie could be injured or anything why the fook would you kick it back to your goal without looking. A draw was probably a fair result on the night anyway. Celtic doing well but can't really afford any slip ups. You would expect with 8 PTS to be higher up the table unfortunately the teams they have beaten have lost to everyone else they have played.

Watch it again and watch what Schmeichel does. CCV was criminally sloppy but the keeper tells Kuhn to pass it to CCV (which he does) while immediately moving at pace away from his 6 yard box looking to be an option. I'd expect better anticipation and chemistry at this level.

CCV, by any credible analysis, was 100% responsible for his panicky decision to blindly send a back pass to his goalie. The main ground rule is that a risky back pass is directed wide of the post. Not only did CCV not know where the goalie was placed but didn't even know where the posts were.

10mins earlier Johnston did the same thing, back pass to keeper that was in effect on target, if the keeper makes a mistake its a goal, struck me at the time it was schoolboy stuff, a few feet to the other side was the textbook ball to rule out the potential for an OG

Agreed. CCV is at fault, not disputing that. Keeper wasn't helpful is what I am saying.
