Quote from: Rois on September 04, 2024, 08:46:28 PMHave you not asked this before? No, but you can fly to Biarritz and get the bus.

Thought I did but was just checking..

After checking it's 50mins on bus or if you fly from Dublin to Bilbao it's 1-10mins..

Manchester do direct flights so might take that route instead..

But if you're Belfast based, that's not, well , 'direct'  ;D

No.. but it's 1.45 minutes to Dublin.. fly to France get a 50 odd minute bus to the resort, or 45 minute flight to Manchester and arrive directly to Destination?

Basically I'd prefer Belfast straight but timing might be easier to have Manchester flight  ;)
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Back from Cambrills a couple weeks now, had a great time, but the missus is already looking to plan ahead for next year.

The camp type set up, similar to Cambrills, is what we would be looking for but to change things up a bit thinking of France for next year.

Any recommendations?

Have not been to Cambrils so can't do a direct comparison but we were in l'Hippocampe in South of France this year (La Sirene right next door).
It was very nice

Heading to the States towards the end of November for a week.

Just to be on the safe side going to take out some medical insurance, any providers / websites that would be recommended?

Some of those money apps also do free travel insurance if you sign up to their premium service. You get things like free subscriptions to journals, VPN and airport lounge access too. I think Revolut is about 150-200 per year plus you also get higher limits on free foreign exchange and ATM fees, handy if travelling. Might be worth checking. Wise I believe offer similar.

Been toying with holidays for next year. Did CP this year and few shorter breaks down south. Kids loved it and said they'd prefer CP over a sun holiday. But have been in CP the last couple of years.
Was thinking of heading over to England and going to one of the similar sort of places. Ideally one where you could go to a theme park or two on day trips.
Any recommendations for somewhere maybe with good entertainment on site?
