Anyone see Tyrone McKenna's fight last night? An absolute robbery of a decision for the French fella he was fighting. I was glancing at in play betting throughout and at the end the Frenchman was 1/200 to win then they suspended it completely they assumed it was that much of a given.

Though I suppose it's easier to market McKenna v O'Hara Davies in the final than some French fella who can't speak English.

Have three kids
7, 5 and 2.

Looking to go to a Euro Camp this summer, has anyone done these before? Will be first time taking the kids abroad, sort of want a one stop shop where everything on location.

Done a couple in France (La Baume, La Croix du Vieux Pont) which were both very good in their own ways but last year done Bella Italia at Lake Garda and it was the best of the lot. Loads to do on site, loads of reasonable restaurants, you are right at the lake too where you can swim, hire a boat, pedalo etc. The town itself Peschiera is only a short walk by the lake. Gardaland theme park is only about 10-15 mins drive away too it is class, your ones would love it. We got the annual passes so we could come and go to it all week, wasn't that much more dearer than paying to all go for one full day.

Congrats to Fearghus Quinn from Belleeks Co Armagh. I know his sister very well, certainly has dedicated every part of his life to boxing and now has the fantastic opportunity of fighting under MTK along side the fury, Frampton, conlons of the boxing world

Is that the lad that fought Donnelly in the Irish finals a year or two ago and was robbed?

The very one.

As others have said cheap flights with Ryanair to Bergamo then hire a car and it's an hour drive mostly motorway.

We stayed in Peschiera (Bella Italia campsite was great) and it was a good base for exploring. Will definitely be back.

Anyone recommend any family friendly resorts after flying in to Alicante.

Dont want to go near Benidorm but struggling to find elsewhere that has places to keep kids amused

Magic Natura. Fly into Alicante and its about 40 min transfer. Its so good for families, its all separate bedroom lodges. The pools at the site are class but you also get unlimited access to their onside waterpark Aqua Natura and they have their own zoo Terra Natura.

We have been twice, our wee one loves it. They do a daily bus to Benidorm both visits we did one morning at the beach and then went back to the site we had enough Rangers tattoos. You could easy spend the whole week on site without going into Beni.

One of the infinity pools on site looks over the elephant enclosure in their zoo, my daughter loved that. The food was standard all inclusive but it changed daily and they were generous with the drinks.

I Hear there is men in building sites doing coke on weekdays up and down the country.

The absolute state of this. Away and have a word with yourself.

I genuinely don't understand this.  Are you saying it isn't true?  Or that it shouldn't be said? Or what?  Plenty of people in construction, as in many walks of life, use coke.

He saying that the building trade up and down the country is basically coked up, everyday, on site. It is, of course, complete lies.

I know a few ones that take coke on sites. A minority though there is some. He didn't say the whole building trade was coked up did he?

Child is off for a week end of May so I priced up the Mon-Fri for 2A2C (one baby so wouldn't be charged and one four year old) and it was coming up 800E just for the accommodation. By the time you add what you would spend on getting there, food, drink, activities you would be safer going abroad for a week all inclusive. And that was only for four nights, not the week.

Finucane was actually 7/5 on Paddy Power when they first opened their markets.

SDLP were 4/7 at the start for South Belfast as well, though that was before SF agreed to withdraw.

Naomi Long was 6/4 at the start for East Belfast too, in slightly.

Thread hijack...

Anyone that's been to Poznan recommend any bars for a stag group? Any early bars in the city, they all seem to open late enough. We land at 9am on Friday so have to kill a few hours before we can check into the hotel.

Glad to hear it's only Loyalists who deal in drugs. :o

The Legahory hoods have always been supplied by loyalists (mainly LVF from the Parkmore estate) over the past 25 years from 'Bonanze' when he was there, to the Marno brothers, Billy Wirght, the McNally brothers, the McKeowns  and latter day Jim Carlises (father and son). They are all the lowest form of life you could ever find and each an every one of them up to their armpits in various loyalist groupings - if you don't believe my try Googling any one of them. The McKeown brothers are a particularly hateful bunch of c***ts - one convicted of murdering Catholic teenager Bernadette Martin by shooting her in the head as she slept and another convicted of murdering Catholic taxi driver Michael McGoldrick. Hugh McGeough was every bit as bad. The link below draws attention to an attempt on his life by one of his former mates. The dispute in the article was nothing to do with with McGeough murdering the teenager but a mere fallout over the division of drugs, money and guns between themselves.

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/news/thug-boss-13905828.html

For years the RUC let these c***ts run around murdering any Fenian they could lay their hands on, all the while turning a blind eye to their drug dealing. You'll not find many round Lurgan or Craigavon who would shed tears over any of them.

Mal McKeown gone then.
