Post GFA there can be UI, but the spirit of that agreement is that this will come when when people in NI want it. People in the 6 counties have to put their hand up and say that they want in. But we don't get that, what we get is so called nationalists and republicans saying that they have nothing in common with the rest of country and that the 26county voters are stupid uncaring people. It seems widely believed in the 6 counties that Dublin should spend more money there, but propose any revenue raising measure and there isn't much interest in self help. SF are more interested that they be in power than any UI where they are not in power. Now the main issue with a UI is economics, but SF have no interest in economics or at least the earning side of it, they have some interest in the spending side. Without some mature leadership in the 6 counties things will indeed remain as they are.

As ever on the last legs trying to get something sorted for a present. Anyone know where I could get 6 nation ticket and an overnight stay package or even just a ticketfor a match? Tried Skelton Travel Lurgan but they only do football ones.

Your best bet is the Italy game in March. Make a nice weekend in Rome out of it - you will be able to pick up tickets for it no bother. I would recommend booking own travel and accommodation - don't use a packaged deal.

You will struggle to get tickets for any of the other games - and will end up paying a complete fortune for them. You could get flights, accomadation and tickets to the Italy game fpr the same price as just tickets for the others.

Who are you booking flights to Rome with for the rugby that isn't exorbitant or takes you on a 24 hr magical mystery tour?

Chatting to a fella last week who was looking at home tickets for the France match but they were E800 on a resale site. Scrapped that and found tickets for Italy v Rome for under E50. Flights however were over E500 so he was away to look at flights to Pisa and train to Rome. No cheap options.

Indeed. I have read people say it legitimises future Trump pardons, however the same fella doesn't need a reason or an excuse. The 6th Jan "patriots" will be out.
