Kilkenny, Tipp and Galway rightfully the three favourites.  Tipp and Galway are the only ones that can beat Kilkenny imo.  But you can never count out Cork either, Cork being Cork are always dangerous, they seem to have tradition on their side.  Waterford are still a force to be reckoned with as well.  Dublin's odds continue to improve every year but its sad to see once great hurling counties Wexford and Offaly with odds so far out.  It just shos how far hurling has gone back in those counties even if Offaly did show signs of revival last year.

Lads I'm looking for a list of players with most championship appearances.  I know Christy Ring leads the way followed by Davy Fitz but I cant find a proper list.  I have checked Wiki (where they have a list of the top Championship scorers) and the GAA website but no luck.  I cant believe its this hard to find such records, they are always available in other sports.

Does anyone know of anywhere on the internet where such records or available or failing that any books that I could buy that has a list of such records.

A few of us are flying out to Oslo Saturday morning for four nights.  We are renting out a car and going to try and see as much of the country as we can in four days!

Anyone here being to Norway?  Is there anything we must see and do while we are over there?  Anything we shouldn't miss?  I know its probably not a hugely popular holiday destination comparing to some other places, but anyone thats been and has any knowledge of the area, I'd like to hear what they thought of the country.

Lads does anyone know the code I must put before a number when ringing a mobile phone in Malta.

I'm not being lazy asking here, but I have checked a few websites and the codes wont work for me so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Any help will be appreciated.

So lads I was having a chat with a friend of mine the other day about this.  Whats your opinion on them, do you like/hate them or do you have any of your own?

I wouldn't be in to getting one myself to be honest, and for the most part I hate them.  Especially people that get a certain tattoo because it looks "cool" even if it has no meaning.  I dont understand it.  I think it should have some personal meaning or it should mean something important or at least have a reason for the design rather than getting some random tribal tattoo or some other tattoo just because it looks cool.  Theres nothing worse that seeing big fat out of shape man or women with those rotten faded tattoos, they look awful!

So whats the general opinion on them?

Right lads I'm completely stuck on what to get my girlfriend for Christmas.  We have only being going out a few months but I want to get something soon and not leave it until the last minute.  And ideas or tips?

Also what are ye getting for your other half this Christmas?

Well seeing that Ireland didnt qualify, and now that we dont have England to watch and cheer against in every game who do we follow?

Czech Rep or Germany?  Both qualified ahead of us.
Croatia or Russia for knocking the English out?
Poland because well theres so many in this country?

I'd like to see the Czechs and Polish go far.  Maybe the Czech Rep could go the whole way, they were close enough in 96!

Right lads, ages ago, on the Vodafone websit I joined up to text alerts for Galway GAA and Celtic Football club.  Which was grand, had no problems with it.  However with the Celtic text alert, as well as result updates that only cost 13c they used to send me a question on Celtic every week that would put me into a draw to win something.  Anyway I got sick of the Celtic alerts and cancelled them which worked.  But I continued to get the question every week from a 57252 number and soon I noticed this was costing money with every message.  Unlike the text alert is costs a lot more than than normal 13 cent.

Changing my number is a last resort, as I have a really handy number.  So does anyone know of any ways to get out of this other than texting stop, as that does not work.  f**k Vodafone anyway, I got this off there web alerts.  Last time I use them.  Any help appreciated.
