Fantasy can be so frustrating sometimes with weekly matchups playing a huge part. My Clowns have had a fair share of luck with matchups this season, ive picked up a few wins with a less than average score i feel.

I know its off topic but 3 seasons ago in my fantasy baseball i was my leagues top scorer by a country mile but held a record of 0-10. For 10 straight weeks i ran into the weeks top scorer, even the zombie team where the owner drafted and abandoned the team had an amazing week against me!!

What's the cut off for drafts for week 1?
I'm honestly struggling to find it (Yahoo isn't very user friendly as commish) but found online it was midnight Pacific Time on the Wednesday last year. So assuming it's the same this year we'll have to go Wednesday evening.

You can draft right up until kick off of the first game. We usually draft on kick off night in another Yahoo league im in. You do have to manually change the "Start scoring week" setting from week 2 to 1 though as it runs so close to gametime

Would Sunday evening/night suit ok for the A?

Still waiting on Savage Bears for the B League

Sunday evening doesn't suit the Clowns unfortunately as i have another league drafting that night which also includes the Jets and Troy PolaMayo so that would knock 3 of us out..

Decent response so far. If you own any of the teams below, please let me know if back in. I know a few aren't on the board but know someone who is.

New York Jets XI.
Smackdown Clowns.
Coolera Bears.
Savage Bears.
Galway Bay Tribesmen.
Ruthless Rossies.
Troy PolaMayo.
Geezers49ers.

May also look at adding newcomers/returners if anyone is interested.

My Smackdown Clowns are back in. And two more that i know: Troy PolaMayo is back and last seasons champs New York Jets are coming back.

The best one ive ever had was a Mike Vick game with the Eagles one Monday night a decade ago, it was a monster score. Had a google to get the exact stats: 333 pass yards 4 Pass TDs + 80 Rush yards 2 Rush TDs. Still only 42 points.
I imagine someone started Brees in that shootout game vs the giants back in 2015, 505 yards and 7 Pass TDs for 47points.
The best i think based on our scoring settings belongs to Jamaal Charles back in 2013 for the Chiefs v the Raiders: 20 Rush yards 1 Rush TD + 8Rec for 195 Rec Yards 4 Rec TDs for 52.75 points. His owner that night was Coolera Bears.

;D 8)

How did you find that declan?

Id love to say memory :)
The Vick and Brees games were from memory but the Charles game came from Google. To find you were his owner i went into the leagues history to see who owned him that year.

Right men, I've bolded those who have got back to me, sorry if I've missed anyone. I'll have a look through again. If anyone is on the list and hasn't got back to me please let me know either way. Or if anyone knows anyone on the list who hasn't responded please give them a shout, I think there is one that's possibly not on the board.

Anyone who didn't play last year but would like to this year just let me know and we can add folks in if a free spot becomes available.

Draft will probably be towards the end of August for both leagues but would like to have everything organized in advance. Thanks.

New York Jets XI.
Smackdown Clowns
Oakleaf Dolphins
Ushane's Bolts
Red Hand Helmets
Oraisteach's Browns
Coolera Bears
Crossmaglen Hitmen.
Savage Bears.
Antrim 89.

Galway Bay Tribesmen.
Oakleaf Dolphins 'B'
Mayo4Lombardi
Ruthless Rossies.
Troy PolaMayo.
No Luck
Geezers49ers
Big Apple Orchards.
Capt Pats Vikings.
Lurgan Saints

Edit: The above are last years divisions and not in order, promotion/relegation has yet to be factored in. Want to see if everyone is on board again first.

A few of my friends are team owners but not at all regular on Gaaboard, possibly only registered here years ago for entry to this league! All have confirmed they are back in for this year: New York Jets XI, Ruthless Rossies, Troy PolaMayo all back in.

Excellent simulator here. Select a team, predict the results and see how every result affects that teams chances of the playoffs..
