QuoteAntrim SFC draw
G1: Dunloy, Aldergrove, Làmh Dhearg, Naomh Éanna
G2: Cargin, Rossa, Tír na nÓg, St John's
G3:Portglenone, Ahoghill, Glenravel, Moneyglass
G4: St Brigid's, St Gall's, Aghagallon, Creggan

Interesting group 4. If only 2 make it out then I think 2nd spot in 3 of those groups very interesting and group 4 definitely the harder one to call.

Also as for the Feile, complete disgrace how Sarsfield's conducted themselves some of our adult mentors even getting assaulted by their U15's

Cargin also scored a few late goals when the game was dead to put a gloss on the scoreline??

I was at it and your source has gave you a phoney account.
Listen I have seen many people comment on here within last 12 months about Bakers negative tactics, I commented something similar after watching them last night.
Ballymena scored their goal along with 3 or 4 points in the last 10 mins, Cargin were 7 points up at half time ended up scoring 6 goals, could have been 10. Just being honest.

You should have went yourself rather than rely on wee Paddy's report.
Ballymena are a well organsised team to be fair to them, just prob need to work on the fitness to keep the lung busting forward runs required up for 60mins
All hail the great glorious Cargin

The dominant force with one victory in Ulster

The problem is that the manual does not help solve all my situations that I have written. I have already read it but it didn't help me.

QuoteBare in mind as we've seen on here, the referee's handbook within the GAA Learning Portal has more important detail on some rules #minefield
Is there a referee manual? Maybe a casebook but where could I find it?

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on May 16, 2024, 11:02:12 AMOther question:
The ball may be knocked from an opponent's
hand(s) by flicking it with the open hand
But when the ball is released or is bouncing or soccer juggling, i.e. I mean when the ball is not in contact with the hand, can it be stolen by touching it or grabbing it with both hands?

You can't wrestle the ball away from an opponent if he has it in his possession (both hands) if the ball is open/unprotected then it can be tackled/flicked punched away or taken cleanly
So if a player holds the ball with two hands or even with one hand and his chest, can the ball only be stolen with an open hand? I notice a real difficulty in stealing the ball in this game, because being able to hold the ball in your hands makes it almost impossible to steal the ball, because in football there is more precarious control, whereas in rugby the control is absolute but there is tackle.

What do you think of my other doubts?

Please could anyone explain me what do Showing the Ball and Turning Twice with the ball mean?

Holds with two hands and if wrestled from the hands its a free for the person in possession of the ball. If the ball is 'popped' from his possession if he was holding it with one hand or two, with an open hand that's ok, the term stripping or wrestling it from possession is what we are looking at, that's a foul.

Gave a free the other day, lad won the ball but made contact with the player first around the neck. Had I been standing on the other side of that tackle I would not have called the free as from the other angle it would have looked like a clean take of the ball. But because of my positioning I was lucky enough to see that

If it's only one more week until it's all sorted then that's acceptable. The likes of Donaghmore should not get to benefit with the starred fixtures over other teams.

Galway half forward line is definitely their weakest line, and another option (Cathal Sweeney) just dropped out through injury. So if the Derry injuries do arise, it's probably the area you'd be able to troubleshoot best

Who plays alongside McKinless in the event McEvoy and Doherty do indeed drop out? I assume they won't move Rodgers back on Comer again, leaving the task to McKaigue?

Quote from: RedHand88 on Today at 10:21:34 AMIt's June in 2 weeks ffs. Why was it even left this late to begin with? Derry have their 6th found of club fixtures this weekend and have played more county games than us this year!
Don't be ridiculous. The May start has been the best thing Tyrone GAA have done in the last decade. The season has ran brilliantly the last two years with the Friday games and the May start date. League played through the best months of the year. Unfortunate change for Senior clubs having to wait an extra week this year but give me the current structure and calendar over a March/April start and lengthy gaps throughout the season.
