It really was a night to remember in Thurles tonight.  Kerry got 2 of the softest goals that you could imagine and lead at half time by 3-6 to 0-5.  Neither team scored in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half and Tipp outscored Kerry by 2-7 to 0-2 in the rest of the game.   There was a lot of added time to be played and Tipp led by 1 point until Kerry equalised in the 4th or 5th minute of added time.  Tipp to their everlasting credit went straight down the field and team captain Liam McGrath scored the winning point.  There was still nearly a minute played after that but Tipp held out until the final whistle came with 36 minutes and 10 seconds played in the second half (according to the scoreboard clock).  This was the best performance, bar none, that I have ever seen from a Tipperary team.  What a night to be a Tipperary football supporter.

Kerry U21s humiliated by Cork. Tipp beating their minors. Are we heading towards a Kerry 87-96 period again?

MUNSTER MINOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL

Tipperary 2-12 Kerry 3-08

LIAM McGRATH kicked a point in the sixth minute of injury-time to give Tipperary a sensational win over hot-favourites Kerry in a pulsating Munster Minor Football Championship Semi Final at Semple Stadium last evening.

Tipperary came from 10 points behind at half-time to go ahead with a minute to play. Kerry recovered to equalise deep into injury time but then McGrath sent Tipp fans in the 1,036 attendance into ecstasy with the final point.

Wind-aided Kerry blitzed Tipperary with three goals in an eight minute spell in the first quarter. A mistake by Tipp goalie Gearóid Slattery presented Kerry's Pádraig Boyle with their first goal in the seventh minute. Two minutes later, Jamie Moriarty fired home a second and Ciarán Keating had a third as Kerry went 11 points clear.

At half-time Kerry led 3-06 to 0-05 and looked home and dry. It took Tipperary 11 minutes of the second half to start their extraordinary rally but Michael Quinlivan's goal brought Tipperary to life. Five unanswered points followed as Tipp cut the lead to two points with eight minutes to go.

Sub Seán McCarthy had Kerry's first score of the half in the 56th minute but a minute later Colman Kennedy grabbed a levelling goal for Tipperary. Michael Quinlivan put Tipp ahead in the 59th minute but Kerry's Ciarán Keating equalised before McGrath struck again.

MUNSTER MINOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL

CORK HAD a merited 13 points to spare over Clare in the Munster MFC semi-final at Cusack Park, Ennis last night. Champions last season, the young Rebels will now have the opportunity to put back-to-back titles together when they face Tipperary in the final.

A one-sided second period saw the Cork forwards notch some fine scores from the likes of the in-form Dan McEoin, Cian O'Sullivan and Sugrue as the Rebels ran out easy winners.

Evening. For all of you with Android phones, there's an app out there called "GAA Scoreboard" that allows you to keep track of scores at matches. The app can be connected to a Twitter account that automatically broadcasts the teams, the time and the score when the user chooses to do so, accompanied by the #gaa hashtag.

Instead of (or in addition to) potential users tweeting from their personal accounts or club accounts, I've set up a Twitter account that could be used to tweet all scores of interest to gaaboarders (not trying to put drici out of a job!), rather than having to follow every individual who might be using it: @gaalivescores. If anyone is interested in using it, let me know and I'll pm them the password.

Hopefully there'll be an iOS port or else an equivalent app soon.

Was it really 1-15 to 2-12 between Naomh Adhamhnáin and Gleann tSuile after 33 minutes 21 seconds? That sounds like some match.

Well, according to twitter it was 2-3 to 2-3 between test and test after 24 mins, so you never know what can happen!

Looks good for scores but things they could add in:

- A function for putting in the attendance so that the phone user could count the people and insert the figure he gets.
- A function for displaying which team is playing with the wind.(St. Eunan's <10mph Glenswilly)

I'll try and think of some more.

Submit whatever suggestions you want: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=72047967

It's just a guy in college during his exams. People have asked him to include all sorts of stuff like wides, frees, cards etc. After a while you just run out of space on a mobile screen.

I think there's more iPhone users than Android on here, so hopefully it can be ported. Would be good for club matches up and down the country.

If you were any use you'd be playing.
