Half Time in Newbridge,  5 points apiece, carlow seem to have had the wind behind them in the first half.

Well done Mayo. I'm not a Mayo man but I'm delighted for them. I hope its the first part of a double today

Word is he wants the Gaels to apologise to him. If that is his attitude after all that's happened then reconciliation with Cavan players, management and fans has no chance.

If that's his attitude, then I cant see his return, or should I say attempted return being successful.
He has to understand that he upset a lot of Cavan Gael supporters
It takes a man to admit he was wrong and apologise accordingly. He cant move on if he holds a grudge

Feel kinda sorry for him though! All the trouble and the insults and for what purpose?
surely there must be some way for the man to redeem himself with Cavan.

Cork don't seem to be at the races at all.

Who is he even talking about?
Brolly?

Ciareain Whelan seemed to be having the dig on TSG. I can't recall the exact words but the inference was that Kildare were badly organised on the field, the backs didn't know who they were supposed to be picking up, Kildare only started sending in high balls to the forwards when O'Connor was taken off etc.

Kildare are very disappointing. Tyrone's to lose

just keep it down to 15pts lads lol

O'Rourke played a blinder today saying Meath will be lucky to avoid a repeat of the beating Kildare got today and if they kept it to single figures then it would be a great day out for Meath.

Was this not what spillane said as he tried to do down O'Rourke?

I haven't seen much of Dublin this year, are they any use?

I don't think their forwards are much use. They have to call up the goalie to kick the frees and 45s :)

Windy and wet in the west. What's the weather like in Dublin?

Do you know what? I'm beginning to feel a wee bit optimistic, which is based on absolutley nothing except that you cant be pessimistic all the time. Anyway we can't play as bad as we did in the league. Hopefully the day won't be as cold either.

Always liked a Friday night game myself. Think its a grand way to start a weekend! As a neutral I'd love to see Carlow win it.

I'm wondering how strong a team Kildare will put out. If the expectation is a big defeat would Kildare management think they might be better off putting out an experimental team for the Dublin match and keeping the main men injury and penalty free for the qualifiers?
