Friend of mine is the exact same, he loves vodka though and is very particular about it too, some of the stuff he has can even be drunk straight its so good

Can't stand any type of wine, have tried the lot from cheap to expensive and it's just not for me. nothing beats on a hot day/night a lovely cold pint of beer.

I think with alot of things, they are an acquired taste.
I would say very few people could honestly say they thought their first pint of stout was lovely, but once you try it a few times you get the taste for it.

I'm the same, wouldn't thank you for cake, buns or stuff of that ilk. Not even a big chocolate fan. I used to get boxes of pringles for easter!
