Well - the league-wide average is around 14,000

doesn't help with some teams playing in NFL/College Football stadiums though

True, but I suppose they are hardly going to break the habit of a life time. Remember being at a gridiron game in the Roger's Centre a few years back, there were definitely more people driking than watching. Then again, given the "entertainment" on show that night, it's hardly surprising!
