For the first time in my life I actually felt sorry for Armagh as, like ourselves, they are a proud and passionate county who are pretty poor at present. To keep some balance they have gone up to Division 2 while we are heading in the other direction.
However, it make me smile to read Armagh posters complaining about cynicism and gamesmanship. That's the problem with bringing negative innovations into what should be a fair and honest amateur sporting contest where the best 15 players win. Some other crowd get so pissed off with being caught out that they take on your tactics, get better at it and it becomes a race to the bottom.

From my own point of view, my intention to referencing the cynicism of Fermanagh was simply to present it as an observation on my part - not a complaint. Armagh last night have too many concerns of our own to worry about what others do.

Our great team of the noughties had a reputation for cynicism, but my feeling would be it was not for trash talking or feigning injury, or indeed disrupting the opposition kick-outs by pinging a second football onto the pitch. Maybe others will disagree and point to some specific incident from 2007 that totally undermines what I said. Ho hum.

To be fair, probably the biggest insult you delivered - and I'm sure it was not your intention to do so - was to say as a Down man that you feel sorry for us!! Some may feel that that really represents the nadir.   :)

Fermanagh easily the better side. Could've won by more. Sending off correct too.

"Our team without Lukaku, Fellaini we don't have presence". I'd be embarrassed and angry if Mourinho was manager of my club.
I'd be embarrassed if my club has won a solitary league cup in 10 years....

You're clearly emotional tonight  ;D
The best thing you can do now is head to bed. 7 sleeps till Kiev.

We won't get too emotional over an FA Cup.  Like Istanbul have you the paving slabs all packed to drop onto waiters heads in Kiev?

He looked like Dublin in the 15th century??

No Martial in the French WC squad?  Lack of game but time has obviously cost him but strange decision all the same.

Smile will be on the other side of Eurovision's face tomorrow when they discover every telephone vote cast for Israel reversed the charges

Really? A jews are tight with money joke?
Yes. A bit of light humour. Have you some point to make?

Yes. It was a joke in poor taste that reinforces old antisemitic tropes.

That sort of thing is ok around here though.

Shi#te, thats me in trouble then. Told a similar joke at work last week but it was a scottish person instead.
Come to think of it, someone else was slagging off Cavan(sorry anyone from Cavan on here) people for being tight during another discussion. I shall be reporting him first thing tomorrow.
Has there been a genocide perpetrated against Scottish people or Cavan people, in which the portrayal of them as "money grabbers" was used to mobilise the widespread, systemic hatred and prejudice against them which enables genocide to happen?

The Halocaust was carried out by the Nazis but the Jews try to make everybody feel guilty for it. Anyone criticizing the Jews is accused of antisemitism to the point that they can carry out atrocities of their own with impunity.

As far as the money grabber title is concerned, it is well deserved

I've played Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2. Is this a new one in the series?

Great win from Antrim today to make it 2 out of 2 but some disgraceful antics from the Carlow players. They finished with 12 and 3 Antrim players are currently in hospital. Should be lengthy bans given out! No place for it in our games.
+1.  Apparently one player had his privates ripped open by the butt of a hurl in an off the ball cowardly strike.  The sort of stuff that should be dealt with by the courts rather than HQ.

There's only a few Leinster grounds now deemed big enough for Dublin  season-ticket holders band-wagonners. As far as I know they have to get a stand ticket. Aughrim won't make the cut.

Fixed that for you.

Marital due to play today and then injured in training.  Hopefully he hasn't played his last game for the club.

Whatever Celtic fans missed out on them allowing Hibs win a few weeks back certainly didn't make the same mistake twice when Celtic made sure Rangers did not finish second.   Half of West Belfast must've backed an Aberdeen win today!  Holidays paid for!  ;D

Ireland were 5/1 before the song was sang tonight and now its 10/1..
The second Great Irish Famine to continue? Still think it could be our year.

That's the sort of joke we've come to expect from Rangers fans.  The famine should never be a laughing matter dude.

If Liverpool win the UCL the mods can retire for a while as the vast majority of complaints are due to overly-sensitive 'pool fans not being able to take a bit of 'schtick over their failure to win as much as a teapot in 7 years and just one pathetic league cup in 11 years.  This leads to either (a) the wee scallys bleating to the mods for the rest of us for laughing at them or (b) them resorting to personal insults and incurring bans.   Bless.

Why do members insist on addressing Ferguson as Sir?  :o

Often wondered that myself.  High King or Lord and Master would be better.  Liverpool, Chelsea and City fans should advert their eyes to show their subservience as well.
