Amrabat has certainly been a massive disappointment. Expected a lot of him after an impressive World Cup and he was good for Fiortenia in their run to the conference league final but he looks totally out of his depth. Makes so many basic errors.

Utd are just about getting away it against the likes of Fulham and Luton but as shown against Man City that midfield just isn't going to cut it against the better teams in the league.

Think maybe being slightly harsh on Amrabat, he came in for his first couple of games as makeshift left back.

He then is playing in a clearly dysfunctional midfield, trying to hold on his own while adjusting to the league.

There is a player in there for sure, just whether ETH can get to a formation that will allow some sort of structure in the midfield whilst getting the best out of Bruno and Mount/ Erikson/ McT.

Hope you're right but form what I've seen he struggles with the pace of the game, so many times he's been caught on the ball or had a pass blocked as he's taken too long on the ball. He turns like a bus and his array of passing is very limited, not a good combination!!

I assumed Ten Hag thought Mount could play with Fernandes and Casemiro, think they started the first 2 league games as a trio and can't recollect it happening since; From  an attacking point of view it worked really well in the first half against Spurs but like Wolves did United's midfield was wide open during the 2nd half. Casemiro clearly not as it first season and he could well be finished at the highest level but it was certainly not all his fault, whether a slight change in tactics and and a more mobile defensive midfielder will work with Fernandes and Mount I have my doubts but perhaps we'll see next season!

They'll be hoping Kobbie Mainoo can come straight in and make an impact in the midfield, but it's a big ask of a young player just coming back from injury

Covering Sanchos wages. Ffs. Someone should tell the Glazers it would be easier and cheaper to hire a hitman for most of the squad. (And if they find one whos a decent shot, stick him up front)

Incredible goal from Garnacho. Probably better than Rooneys

Talked about Mainoo coming into the team a couple of weeks ago, he looks like a rolls Royce after watching first 50mins

Impressive 3-0 away result against a side fired up to win after they had league points deducted.  United was the better team in the opening 20 minutes and 2nd half. 18 year old Kobbie Mainoo looked good especially in the 15 minute period that Everton was on top and produced a fine goal line clearance.  Garnacho's goal up there with the best overhead goals scored but Neville giving him MOTM over Mainoo?  Penalty was the correct call and was suprise that Bruno gave the ball to out of form Rashford to take it. (has since said in the after match interview that he wanted to lift Rasford confidence with a goal)

How is it whenever Man United win a game you always need to make it out to be way more impressive than it actually is.
Last week you made the win over Luton to sound like it was some sort of giant killing because Luton had drew with Liverpool the week before, now it's impressive beating Everton because apparently the players were fired up  ;D

Fantastic first goal alright, will be hard to top that this season. Was probably a penalty the way the game is nowadays but it was also a dive, it can be both these days.

The trip was as obvious as your dislike for Utd. Young caught him, simple. Ref got it wrong and VAR corrected him.

Utd have been brutal this year and any win is impressive

Man United only 4 points off Top 4 and only 6 off Arsenal at the top, stop making it sound like every win for them is a win for an underdog. It's rather odd and a little bit hilarious. With the money they have spent beating the like of Everton and Luton shouldn't be celebrated like it was a win against all the odds.

I don't dislike Man United btw, but you seem to have your mind made up that I do. That's ok, I don't care enough what someone thinks on the internet to bother attempting to change your mind.

Dive for me. You'd be pissed if it was against your team. I can't understand how VAR has actually made the game worse.
Some goal from Garnacho. Bout time he produced something.

Young left his leg out for way too long, if he'd stuck it out and brought it straight back in they no pen but to leave it out for so long you're not going to get away with it.

A better second half after been terrible from 15-45 min, probably one of the best goals ever scored by a United player. Garnacho has a lot to learn but he's got too start, lots of natural talent though.

The most pleasing aspect to yesterday was Mainoo, lots of hype around Manchester about the lad for the last few years. He was outstanding, expected him to be so comfortable on the ball but is the way the way he able to compete with opponents physically, winning headers and making blocks. Would like to see a fit Casemiro alongside him and Fernandes in the new year. Would really like to think we'll see huge improvements in the performances once Martinez returns and see more of Onana's ability on the ball.
