Monaghan Town has The Diamond , Church Square , Old Cross Square and a bit of a triangle type of a square at the Market House
There's a magic roundabout just down the road from the Market house on Park Street too , beside the wee chapel.

Ah jaysus , that's awful news about poor aul Farrandeelin.
He was one of the old board members and was always a sound aul skin

Thoughts are with the family , God love them
Farr will be upstairs now , debating the finer points of Mayo football , it's failings and it's triumphs , with St Peter

RIP Farrandeelin , this parish is the poorer without you.

Suspended sentence I see. As unpalatable as it was it's legally the correct result.

How do you arrive at that opinion??

Edit - just had a speed read of your detailed response above - not fully onboard with your rationale vis a vis the passage of time diminishing the act and it's consequences but need to read again

Did Rorey Beggan join Scotstown from another club also??

No
Rory's father played for both Scotstown and Monaghan in the 80's and early 90's

People who get weapons training in any military or police force would have it drilled into them to be completely paranoid about aiming their weapon carelessly.
It's a complete no-no. You'd wonder what daft notion this soldier took.

Daft notion ??
The only daft notion here would be to accept as any way factual the whole accidental discharge / ricochet/ wet hands nonsense that's been weaved and spun for 3 decades now by the Brit's and their collaborators in the free state permanent government.

This Holden p***k ( if he even was the trigger man , which I personally doubt) won't see a day of jail time I'd say - I do hope I am wrong but if you were putting money on the outcome it'll be some wishy washy wrist slap due to ill health , too long ago , etc etc
The whole f**king thing is a circus
My thoughts are with the family , a few of which I know very well , good honest people .

How much would Bohs get from the recent deals with Brighton ?

The initial transfer fee was undisclosed but I'd imagine it was decent in LOI terms
I'd also guess that there would be add on €'s for progression to U 23's , 1st team , 1st team appearances, International team appearances & probably a % of any sell in fee
Bobs will likely do ok out of it

He moved as a kid, not a pro. Bohs got compensation fee and nothing else.

Where'd you get that info ?
Just did a bit of googling there & all I could find was same as I remembered- fee undisclosed
The lad was in demand by a few clubs when he came of age to get the boat and head for England - it's not beyond the bounds of reason that Bohs may have being more than reasonably treated in that deal is it ?
Anyway if you have info beyond that fire it up there , I'd d be curious to see what they are getting 👍🏻

What 'deal'? He wasn't under contract. He just transferred to Brighton, Bohs couldn't stop it if they wanted to.

No link to that then ? Ok

You reckon Bohs didn't get a shilling then ? Would be unusual wouldn't it

Before we start building him up like the next Aaron Connolly or Troy Parrott, let's take a deep breath

I think Ferguson is a step above both
Parrot was hyped on a relatively decent underage run & some decent outings for the U21 international team
Connolly burst on the scene with a goal for Brighton & had a bit of pace about him , got a few games for the international team & has faded badly since , v badly

Ferguson seems to be a different fella entirely , has played his way into a 1/2 decent Brighton team under a new manager & looks like he will get a chance to put a run of games together
Hope it goes well for the lad

Canadian lad doing rightly
Solid enough start but listing slightly for last 15 mins
O'Riley not at the races - needs to come off for Mooy
Kyogo too quiet - big GG in there & Jota for Forest would change things nicely I think

Big debut for the Canadian lad !

Neither Hatate or Kyogo in Japan's World Cup squad but Maeda is

Serious performance
Ruthless, relentless, fast as f**k
Opened up the Huns completely at times

Matt O'Riley is a baller, big time
