BB, I think you're confusing the birth of Jesus traditionally celebrated on 25th Dec and the birth of his mother Mary traditionally celebrated on 8th September. The Immacualte Conception was the conception of Mary (not Jesus) on 8th December and she was born nine months later on 8th September.

The above has the family tree of Jesus.

It says Adams was the son of God. Strangely enough Enoch was a relative of Adams. Not strangely after David arrived there was a split. The split lasted a long time but came back together after Peter and Jezebel. Then there was another split. Joseph came from the continuity Adams line while Mary, well, her Geneology doesn't really matter as Jesus was a 'Virgin Birth'. Although Jesus' six siblings (according to this) probably considered themselves descendants in the normal sense of the word.

This year I have yet to see The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. Best Santa based Christmas film.
Some good TV on over the festivities.
