Cualas hardest game was the Dublin final !

Cuala looking good yet again and boro didn't have the same goal opportunities that they did a week ago. Couldn't handle the swarm defence of Cuala.
Is that different Goughs playing for Dicksboro than the ones that used to play (or maybe still do) for Dublin?

Niall Gilligan is some man, 41 years of age playing centre forward for your club at this level. Popped over a few nice scores as well.

Blackrock beaten. What's another year for Cork clubs?

I remember Sarsfields beating them in a final back in the early 90s - not sure if they ever won a club - they were a hardy team though!

the red and maroon colour clash is ridiculous

good few players have misplaced passes
Often wondered about this when Cork were playing Galway. Seems ridiculous to me too.

There were a lot of Dunnes in that family.

Galway championship slowly working it's way to a conclusion. City club Liam Mellows beat Cappataggle in the first semi-final to reach their first county final since 1970. Gort and Craughwell drew the other semi so must meet again next week.

I'd say you'd have got huge odds on Cappaghtaggle and Liam Mellows even meeting in a semi final!

Ballygunner playing well enough, Na Piarsaigh struggling with handling and stickwork, Dowling injured?

Gort prevail in the replay by 2pts to setup a final against Liam Mellows.

Two good teams on show today! They should meet in the final this year barring a collapse...
