The GAA were one of the few bodies which actually took the lofty ideals of 1916 seriously and tried to put them into practical action.

While then giving absolutely no examples of this. Not saying its wrong, but thats a terrible article. Massively oversimplified, no meat on any bones.

No problem. By the writers logic, rugby, cricket and hockey are immersed in 1916 ideals. But we know that is bollocks.

Also partition was a Dublin decision only. Also for the bollocks file.

Thats a terrible article for that site to run. Note nobody had the tars to put their name to it.
