Gordon Sherry in an Open many years ago would have been in the last or second last pairing.

His career never took off after that.

Paul Dunne might have been in the final pairing that time he played a blinder in the Open too. Similar career trajectory to Sherry unfortunately.

Strange stuff with coverage. Rory and Tiger going nowhere and you see all their 80 shots. The likes of Lowry, Reed, English and Fox ticking over nicely, but you wouldn't know they were playing.
