McIlroy played really well since Thursday but realistically Scheffler completely lost this he was terrible today.

He did but Rory did what he needed to (just about) while the other top golfers in the world couldn't take advantage.

Yer man Du Plessis who came second in the first event has been cut to make room for the new signings.

Yer man Du Plessis who came second in the first event has been cut to make room for the new signings.

The all-Japan team from the last event is gone too - most likely because they couldn't get Hideki signed who turned down $300-$400m

Du plessis will crawl back to the European tour. The sooner the other tours stop them coming back the better might make them think twice as for the major winners at Liv well let's hope they cant come back to them either. Only way to deal with the rebels.
