Ah - you are one of those people.  ::)

I thought you were serious for a while.
And you're one of those. Conspiracy theories everywhere.

13 Russians charged by the Special Counsel's office today with meddling in the election

Good, let the truth come out regardless of who is implicated and from what side of the aisle they hail, the last thing America needs is another cover up, bring it on.

Apparently the FBI is now 4 people in a room who are somehow too busy investigating Russian interference in us elections to investigate crazy (literally) kids.

This is what we have come to. The next president is going to have some job unravelling this mess made by cronyism and self interest.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Wait until it is Chelsea Clinton v Jack Schlossberg in the Democratic primaries with Ivanka Trump v One of the Bush twins in the Republican primaries.

Hour long discussion between Jim Risen and Glenn Greenwald on the alleged Russian interference in the US election. Well worth your time (after the first 5 minutes or so, anyway).

QuoteA former top adviser to President Donald Trump's election campaign has formally pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy and false statements charges in the special counsel's Russia investigation.

The plea by Rick Gates is a strong indication that he is planning to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation as it continues to probe the Trump campaign, Russian election interference and Gates' longtime business associate, Paul Manafort.

The 45-year-old Gates made the plea at the federal courthouse in Washington. It comes a day after Gates and Manafort were indicted in Virginia on new charges of tax evasion and bank fraud. Manafort, who is Trump's former campaign chairman, has said he is innocent.

QuotePresident Donald Trump's former campaign chairman is maintaining his innocence after his longtime business associate pleaded guilty to federal charges.

Paul Manafort says in a statement that the plea by Rick Gates on Friday does not change his commitment to defend himself against what he calls "untrue piled up charges." Manafort says he had "hoped and expected" that Gates would have "the strength" to continue to trial. He says Gates chose to plead guilty for "reasons yet to surface."

Can someone clarify something for me? Are there two (or more) elements to the "Russian Interference" allegations? One being the use of social media by a handful of people in St. Petersburg and the second being the hacking of the DNC server and subsequent use of that information? Is that right? Is there more?

Don't think there is really any doubt about he above.

Did the Trump campaign know about it, how much did they know and did they cultivate or encourage it in any way are the big questions!!

Well let's not get into what anyone is sure about.

Sorry, I meant to say to leave Trump out of it for the time being. It's the social media ads and the hacking that we're talking about? That's it? And then it's who did what with the information that was hacked?
