Replace Mr Tambourine Man with the much maligned (wrongly imo) Wagon Wheel and you have my top three.

Thought you preferred Nathans version

Quote from: maddog on March 13, 2023, 11:28:09 AMAny whispers for cheltenham lads ?

Only word i've had so far is for Marine nationale in the first race tomorrow. My own personal pick for the week is ferns lock in the foxhunters fancied it for a good while now. Any info throw it up here.

Ferns Lock withdrawn from that race maddog?

Well he is 5/2 for same race this year. Has to have a big chance although there is one in there that beat him at Down Royal "its on the line" Hoping for Tullyhill to get us off to a flyer. Any whispers throw them up lads.

Quote from: Ardstick on February 28, 2024, 10:16:33 AMIts probably been asked before on this but what would be the best type of road bike to purchase for very hilly area?? Gear wise, chain wise etc?? Cheers

I'd look for something with a 34/50 up front and 11-34 at the back. Should get you up most things.

If its more leisure type rides look at something like a cannondale synapse. Usually has that type of gearing. If its for racing then you might need to customise it yourself.

Friend of mine got great deal from wiggle on new 105 groupset. Reduced to £379. Bought Monday delivered yesterday. All I'd say is pay by credit card just in case but never had issue with Wiggle

Quote from: bennydorano on February 20, 2024, 11:20:12 PMHow bad was True Detective.
Finished it last night and to be honest I gave up on it several episodes ago but the wife continued watching it.

What is good out there at the minute?

Stuck with it. About 4/10 i'd say. Seems to be lack of good shows at the moment. Watched one with Stephen graham recently (normally in decent stuff), was poor enough as well. Bodies i think it was called. Don't bother.

I've a chance of going to North east Thailand next Christmas for a wedding. Would have a blank canvas for probably 10 days after in the area. Any recommendations for Laos, Thailand, Vietnam area?

Quote from: Rossfan on February 02, 2024, 10:34:31 AMHow many thousand turned up at the Binlid/Angry Jim shindig?

Shinners obviously want to get the feet under the Executive table so are keeping mum.

It seems Moygashel and Markethill are their go to places, not Donaghadee, not East Belfast, not Larne.
I find that quite strange.

Its the pitchfork brigade. East Belfast wouldn't know what a pitchfork was for.

Quote from: bennydorano on January 31, 2024, 05:46:46 PMSee tweets circulating about road blocking by the Loyalists on Friday. The 'TOs are working hard behind the scenes.

Last sting of a dying wasp. Their Union is fucked. And the irony is they are responsible because of their stupidity and outright bigotry in backing Brexit.

Hoping I'm on a road they are trying to block

Why ?

As I'll be going through the road block, I'll be asking the question when I get to the front, why are they blocking the road. The answers should be entertaining.

I'd say most haven't read the new framework
Most have never voted
Many will not understand the benefits of being part of both the EU and UK
None of the issues surrounding the red and green lanes would have had made a difference to their lives.

Would it be worth winning an argument but having your car burned out?
