Errigal Ciaran Thirds produced an excellent team performance at Dunmoyle on Monday evening to hand Clogher their first league defeat of the season.

Goals from Michael Harte and Caolan Tierney as well as ten points shared between Sean Mc Kenna (3), Jody Farrell (3) and Pio Mc Dermott (4) were enough to seal the win.

Clogher will be hoping to bounce back from this setback and will be looking to get their season back on track again when they face neighbours Killeeshil next Monday night.

Is that the Sean McKenna that was on the all Ireland u21 winning team playing for the thirds team?  Not bad going for a clubs third team but we'll never see them promoted. surely omagh would be capable of fielding a junior team? Whats peoples views on a club having a division 3 team as well as a division 1 team or whats the pros and cons of it? I know scotstown have the same setup and their div 1 team seem quite successful in monaghan.

When is the Draw for the Championship?

I believe this Thursday along with the championship team being named for sunday? now that they have a club championship sponsor they can make the draw.

Are Donnelly's no longer on board?

Don't think so, cant remember what happened there but I don't think donnellys were too happy with however it was dealt. LCC power or fuels apparently new sponsor?

Interesting that ronan mcnabb playing fullback for dromore this year. Could he be a late contender for the 3 jersey.

Is he full back because Dromore have not options here?
Cathal McCarron away and Tomas McCarron is out with a crucicate.
Only other man I can think of who could play here is Red Sean
They do have Peter Teague who was full back for Tyrone U21s.

Oh yes, Captained the U20's to recent success!!
Where is Teague playing for Dromore then?

I believe he is playing full back with ronan mcnabb playing 6.

When Mugsy was on the team squad didn't really bother me whether he was picked or not. Had some outstanding moments in the Tyrone jersey but consistent he was not. Shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Canavan or O'Neill. He seems to think he was a better player than any of the forwards we have now. He wasn't.

Agree with you regarding his consistency very hot and cold.

Harte or McCann will never be midfield. Monaghans midfield is too big who can field long kickouts. McShane will most likely do what he done in the league, named at FF and play MF. If Cavanagh doesn't play that leaves mcnulty and McClure. Id be inclined to leave mattie in half forwards. Personally I prefer McClure. The only fringe player that could play MF is ben McDonald. Just don't think hes ready for that level yet and needs a year or 2 experience. A way out curveball.. McNamee MF.. haven't seen him play club football but I believe hes going well in MF and kicked 6 points from play last week. All in all we may start praying Cavanagh is fit. Would be a massive loss.

Good win for the moy at home yesterday. Ardboe got a good result, although clonoe don't sound to impressive this season so far. No other surprising results. Had heard pomeroy, errigal and omagh were all missing a lot of players so probably good results for them away from home (except omagh) considering. Trillick racked up a massive scoreline. Lee with 0-9. they seem to be playing all their young guns also which is good to see. anyone at some of the matches have any reports?

McCurry and Con Kilpatrick both excellent for Edendork. Errigal very poor first half. Sean Hurston helped keep Errigal at arms length it was open house on Peter Harte he needed a saddle. Harte senior should look at Kilpatrick for a county run looks to have it all.

Was at the game as a neutral and was looking forward to see two youthful teams go at it but was disappointed as I thought it was the older experienced players that played all the football. Game of two halves. Very strong wind which edendork had in first half, hence the half time lead and the 2nd half come back. McCurry Very good first half kicking a few nice points. Peter Harte very good for errigal, although missed a difficult free at the end to draw it and missed a 1 on 1 goal chance. I was quite disappointed in Conn, heard he had done well on McClure and against omagh as well so was expecting more. Looked lazy and although errigal dominated around midfield with peter harte and ben mcdonald, he had an important fetch near the end. Peter Mccarton last years tyrone minor captain looks like he has potential and looks dangerous but he has a lot to learn and took on 3 or 4 bad shots. I believe he hasn't broken into the starting panel yet and only came on at half time but I'm not sure why? Was looking forward to seeing Paul donaghy also as he started for Tyrone u21's last year and I was impressed with him only 19 at the time but he wasn't togged out I can only assume injury? All in all game probably deserved a draw. neither team really played well although some excellent score taking with the wind. Sean Hurson reffed the game, doesn't seem a fan of black cards which is good but gave 1 very obvious one at the end. A couple of bad decisions but cant be perfect but I feel reffered it very well.

Massive result for Carmen and good to see moy putting up a bit more fight. Supposedly a bit of controversy at the moy game as the ref had a draw but scoreboard and fans had moy winning by a point? any one at it or hear anything more?

Trillick have got of to a flyer and could be the one to beat in the championship this year.
