Giovanni

Just wanted to pay a short tribute to Martin Moore, who gave a lifetime to coaching kids and adults around the county over the last 30 odd years. He was one of those totally genuine GAA people, who gave immeasurably more to the game than he ever got out of it. His tireless work on the training field was matched by a thoughtfulness and kindness (particularly towards the kids), that really was remarkable. He regularly put his hand in his own pocket to help the kids with gear or travel, always with grace and good humour. He never made a compliment out of any of the good work he did. His involvement in the All-Ireland winning camogie team this year was a fitting finale to his coaching career. He will be sadly missed but long remembered.

A touching tribute Giovanni.  May he rest in peace.

Perfectly put Giovanni.
I only got to know him over the last couple of years and a more humble yet deeply passionate man I have rarely met.

Some lovely words there, well said. R.I.P.
The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory. VinceLombardi
