I know, I know.  This must rank as one of the more absurd questions ever posed on this board, but I was thinking the nearest church might be St. Paul's.  Is there a closer one, if you're heading down, on foot, from the Malone Rd. area and up the Sandy Row?  And why would you do that, you may well ask.  Well, I really don't have an answer.

Oraisteach

Thanks, Armaghniac, but I was looking for the nearest church if you actually walked up the Sandy Row, and, no, I'm not wishing to reenact the Passion.

St Peter's Cathedral in Lower Falls,or St Malachys (over towards the Markets direction,in City Centre)

You are strongly advised not to pose this question to any of the natives while actually in Sandy Row! ;D

Is the Chaplincy on Elm wood avenue not closer to you?
It's a lot easier to sing karaoke than to sing opera
