Not a new perspective. But still true none the less.

And beyond that, we need a sea change in attitudes, a recognition that letting bankers do what they want is a recipe for disaster. If that doesn't happen, we will have failed to learn from recent history — and we'll be doomed to repeat it. quote

We know that the weather in winter is cold and horrible but at the moment that idea is furthest from our minds.  And next winter we'll be surprised when it gets very cold!

In both countries politicians are part of the problem as they have always been.

Any halfwit in the States knows the Republicans are completely mad just as everyone here knows that Fianna Fail are corrupt, yet both will be returned to power sometime in the future. We deserve to be ripped off by these leeches.
